How to properly install mods

Can anyone tell me where to install mods on my pc because the mod launcher doesn't detect them anywhere I try

1.) Press 'WINDOWS KEY + R' at the same time.

2.) Type in '%localappdata%' into the field box and click 'OK'.

3.) Double click on the 'Activision' folder, and then double click on 'CoDWaW'

4.) Once your in 'CoDWaW', navigate to your 'mods' folder. This is where mods will be loaded from. If you don't have a 'mods' folder, simply create one.

you're gonna have to find the AppData folder (usuallu pressing the Windows key + R will brin g up the right application and all you have to do is enter "%appdata%"); you'll end up in the "Roaming" subfolder by default, but clicking on AppData will lead you to more sub folders.

the one you want to click on is called "Local", then you'll want to find the next folder titled "Activision" which should be very close to the top. then there should be a folder titled "CoDWaW" and when you open it there should be a folder titled "mods", and if there isn't you can just create one. you should just be able to drag and drop the mods into the folder and when you boot up the game they should show up when you click on "mods".

the appdata folder is a hidden folder and u need to enable it in control panel or in file explorer

Still i have done everything .I install th mod in c/users/appdata/local/activision/waw.I made a mods folder because there wasnt one from the begining i put the mod inside.I launch the game in the mods folder in the games it detects the mod that i intalled i put launch with mods.But in games changes nothing.Windows ten .Any help?

well since ure playing an older map, u will need to type in the console command of the name of the map for it to work
