Plutonium WaW multiplayer is dead af just checked today, so steam is best way to play
Despite popular opinion, this game isn't safe.
Its built on the original quake 3 engine much like all cods and as such has several ancient exploits that still work, one of which allows people to rat/cve your pc, in other words, have full control.
The reason why most haven't been hacked yet is because waw compared to other cods is fairly obscure, and most who play are hardcore og cod fans who dont hack and just wanna enjoy the game.
Unless your popular online, you should be fine, just be wary the risk is still there.
And the silly thing is all so called antiviruses are in fact viruses themselves.
It's a fact, the game (WaW) is fine, period. If it makes you feel any better download a trusted anti-malware software.
