Sniper rifle scopes won't zoom
When I zoom in on any scope, I don't actually zoom in, I just get a scope and no zoom!
This began when i was messing around with a FOV slider on a custom map, and yes I reverted it, and it still won't go away!

I actually have this exact problem, also looking for a fix.

It doesn't go away at all? Even on other custom or default maps?
I guess go here C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles and click your profile folder. Delete the config files and see if that fixed it.
Also you should just forget about any built in fov slider on some custom maps and get T4M. T4M unflags the cg_fov command up to 90 and also lets you change the ratio, so you can also actually go above 90 is you want to. It's much easier to hit a bind rather than going into some menu and adjusting your fov every time you die (or receive zombie blood).

I have T4M and have W bound to change my fov as well as walk forward.

I just got a new computer not so long ago, and I did a clean install of the game, and it still has this problem.
My FOV is 60, (sadly) but it's still persists.
I'll try the fix tomorrow and give you guys an update.

Idk if anyone is still looking for a fix for this problem but for me, I used the command cg_fovmin (which was set to 90 in my game) and dropped it down to the default 10. Boom. now my sniper scope zoom is fixed. This will drop your overall fov back down to default but you can always change it back using T4M and the regular cg_fov command. Messing with the fovmin value also seems to change the zoom level for both sniper scopes and iron sight zoom so find whatever fits best for your play style and have fun! Hope this helps because I still love this game to this day.
