WORKING FIX FOR THE ONLINE PROFILE [EN/FR]

Hey, I finally found a way to play online on Steam if you bought after 2021. First, you will need to have a working key. You can buy one online or you can buy the retail version and use the key that come with it. The key will only be working if it come from the box game or if the person is selling his steam registry key that he bought before 2021. I bought one online and bought the retail version and both worked. You only have to make sure that the key you bought was created before 2021 or come from the box game. You don't have to worry if its the retail version cuz they are all working. When you have the working key you need to replace the steam one with the working one in the registry editor at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Activision\Call of Duty WAW.
The key to change is "Codkey". You have to remove the hyphen otherwise the key will not work. The only problem is when you launch the game Steam will change the key every time. To fix that you need to remove permission of changing the key of all users. Right click on the Call of Duty WAW folder in the registry editor and click Permissions. After that you need to uncheck every permissions of all users except Read. Apply the settings and launch the game and you will be able create a profile if you did it correctly.

Hey, j'ai finalement trouvé un moyen de jouer en ligne sur Steam si vous avez acheté le jeu après 2021. Tout d'abord, vous aurez besoin d'une clé de license valide qui permet de créer un profil. La clé marchera seulement si elle provient de la version boîte du jeu. Vous pouvez en acheter une en ligne ou vous pouvez acheter la version disque et utiliser la clé qui vient avec. J'en ai acheté une en ligne et j'ai acheté la version en disque et les deux ont fonctionné. Vous devez simplement être sûr que la clé que vous avez achetée a été créée avant le problème. Vous n'avez pas à vous inquiéter si c'est la version disque car elles fonctionnent toutes. Lorsque vous avez la clé qui fonctionne, vous devez remplacer celle de la version Steam par celle qui est valide dans l'éditeur de registre à HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Activision\Call of Duty WAW.
La clé à modifier est "Codkey". Vous devez retirer les traits de la clé sinon la clé ne pourra pas être lu par le jeu. Le seul problème est que lorsque vous lancez le jeu, Steam change la clé à chaque fois. Pour résoudre ce problème, vous devez supprimer la permission de changer la clé de tous les utilisateurs. Faites un clic droit sur le dossier Call of Duty WAW et cliquez sur Permissions. Après cela, vous devez décocher toutes les permissions de tous les utilisateurs, sauf lecture. Appliquer les paramètres et lancez le jeu et vous pouvez créer un profil si vous l'avez fait correctement.

I did. Had a bad ping to most servers. And less servers than through this fix.

You can join vanilla servers through Plutonium using connect command.

Well I managed to remove all permissions for it altogether and can no longer see the key, but I did change it to a new key before it disappeared on me, I imagine because I can’t see it the game can’t see it either, what do I do now,

Plutonium has nowhere near the amount of players on CODWAW man, its the truth. you need to stop doing it because no one likes you doing it. How many people have called you out for it, you should start counting.

set all individual permissions to read and remove full control, do that in "Advance" aswell.
