Any mods or fix for wunderwaffe? Preferable the ones that can work in multiplayer too.

Wunderwaffe is very beautiful, interesting and overall awesome weapon to fire. However, due it's damage bug, it's literally the worst weapon to choose from, especially if you aim for indefinite enormous amount of wave.

Unlike the popular belief, wunderwaffe doesn't "take away juggenaut perk". What really happened, in reality is that if you hit yourself - with juggernaut or not, you will permanently lose ability to recover\regenerate health. So without juggernaut, if you hit yourself - any zombie that bites you instantly kills you. If you hit yourself twice, even if with a large delay between taking any damage, you'd still kill yourself using this weapon. The juggenaut perk only adds two more bites of zombie or two more hits with wunderwaffe, means if you hit yourself once with wunderwaffe with juggernaut, you can still take 3 more hits or bites before you die, and you won't be able to EVER regenerate or replenish these hp.

This is why this bug is too horrendous, a single splash damage hit with wunderwaffe at zombie that is about 2-3 meters far away means you're essentially marked yourself to death with no way to recover, a single more hit from random ambush dog or zombie or literally anything - you're dead. Quite a shame because it's very rare to find a video game with electric weapon that isn't incredible ugly, nor just boring laser, nor incredible underpowered.

I can't seem to find _zombiemode_tesla.gsc file he's talking about, CTRL+F through whole disk C doesn't help either. Then I'm not sure if altering this parameter would prevent me from playing this map in multiplayer. Perhaps you can do it?

You can try Plutonium and in a private match set g_fix_tesla_bug to 1 in the console.

What exactly is plutonium? I have cod:waw on cd, and it's installed on a separate harddrive disk.

Is getting a plutonium a necessity when I already have a working cd key from long time ago?

The wunderwaffe bug is due to a compiler bug where setting a player's health would also set their max health. This is fixed in Plutonium with the dvar I shared earlier. It is also possible to write a script that modifies the wunderwaffe so it doesn't set the player's health anymore as a solution.
