Thanks!
Thanks!
Besides, some games don't install properly under Win10 or 64-bit Windows due to incompatibility with the 16-bit installers some games use.
CD is better.
If you are a true gamer, you don't use Win 10.
I have 64bit and it's no problem to install older games. Keep making excuses. Physical is always better.
I ended up buying the Steam version. Glad I did.
The CD version has a few more options (for some reason) to set up personal servers much easier and set two instances of the game on one PC. There's other things I can't think of at the moment, but it's just the stuff I gather when trying to help those on the Steam version with some of those things.
Yeah.. until it breaks. Or you lose it. I don't understand why you'd want to manually put a disc into your PC instead of just downloading the game and starting it with a single click. Double click actually.
PC isn't console, physical media is worthless for anything that's post 2005.
Saying "oh I can sell it" is a pretty pointless argument for a decade old game that's barely worth 5 bucks in physical form, maybe 10 to 15 if you have the case. I don't think you'll miss your lunch money if you decide to buy w@w when it's on sale on Steam.
