How can I use an ps4 controller to play the game??

Im using ds4windows to play with my ps4 controller and I have been trying to use it here but it just doesnt work, the game doesnt recognize the analog sticks, what can i do??

any help would be greatly appreciated

"exec default_controller.cfg" this works for xbox controller but not sure about ps4, also put it in console

Yeah this command works by opening the console box at the top of your screen ( ~ tilde key or whatever country you're from). Ds4windows makes PC recognize the controller as an Xbox controller so you should be good to go.

my ps4 controller works just fine, you doing it right?

yes, the controller works on all my others games but with WaW it doesnt even after writing "exec default_controller.cfg" into the console box :(

Did you put a forward slash / before the command? It has to be /exec default_controller.cfg

no, it was a couple of years ago

my ps4 controller works fine in WAW, make sure to use BIG picture mode, and to config the controller in settings...

I got it working, just gotta bind it in settings using Steams settings and the in-game settings
