Is there any way I can add the game digitally to my account with my serial code printed on the booklet inside?

Upgraded my PC and thought I wouldnt need a disc drive anymore so bought a case without drive bays. gutted I cant play this anymore & really dont want to pay for it, again!

There is no other way unless you want to buy the game again.

External drives are dirt cheap, unless you want to buy the game or get a crack this may be your best option.

An external drive is literally only $15. I have a built-in drive, my PC was built in 2014, but I never used it for anything besides installing Windows off a CD and playing 1-2 of my PS2 games.
CD/DVD drives can come in handy every now and then, it's a good idea to have an external drive around. Doesn't have to be read/write, just read.

"Downloaded copy", the only downloadable copy is on Steam and you cannot convert a w@w CD key into a Steam copy.

lol you really think that is the ONLY way to download a game? First you can download it on humble bundle or less honest ways which is more the way I was talking ..He owns the game so he has a right to play it and a legal key already. No need to buy it again when he doesnt have too

Humblebundle will give you a Steam code you genius, w@w only has 1 form of online store DRM and it's Steam. Also he has a way of playing it, by owning a DVD drive.

CD keys and Steam keys are not the same thing.

Your options are to buy a super cheap external drive (thats really the best option)
or to download a cracked version of the game, and when you install it, you can insert your cd-key and it will be almost a genuine copy. you can even join some multiplayer matches and zombies matches. YOU own the game, you have a legal right to play backup copies if you so wish, but I highly reccomend just buying the damn external drive. You'll find uses for it anyways. I actually backup my steam games onto DVD, so that when i don't pay my internet bill or don't have access for some reason, I can still install any game in my collection without having to download it.

You can use a clean, untouched iso backup with your retail key as normal. For the other guy - you do NOT need cracked anything. Why would you need something cracked if it's a retail/disc key?
I'm not letting go of a dvd/bluray drive for a while. It's convenient, but it does save you space.
