petition! Dear Devs... please.. RELEASE EDF 6 ON STEAM!

I know im not the only one wishing for edf 6 to come on steam asap.
i know tons and tons of awesome gamers wants it.
this franchise has been a DAY 1 purchase for me and my friends. no need to wait for sales.
we happily would support the devs. its an amazing game. no other game captures the fun, rawness and relaxed but at the same time a sense of urgency vibe of the edf line up.

i know my 2 cents doesnt mean a thing and it surely wont be enough to get the publishers to publish the game on this platform, but i hope everyone else who feels the same as i, could chime in and write their supreme wantingness of edf 6 to be released in the immediate future.

maybe this way, we'll catch attention from the higher ups and bless us with this ultra golden game earlier than anticipated ^_^.

so lets do it folks. maybe together, we can save the world sooner than later from these alien attacks!

Oh I know 100% they will, just that they take their sweet ass time. In fact, EDF6 still gotten its DLC Mission Packs which are now around 2-3 months behind schedule if we use EDF 5's Mission Pack development time.

I just really, really hope they don't release in the West only on Playstation and then take another 6-12 months before they do the PC release...like what they did for EDF 5. =/

oh true!! i guess thats why its taking em so long!
but for real, theres soo many games here on steam that doesnt have any translation but yet, people still buy em. this could always come as an update in the future if indeed that were to be the only issue that is affecting its release in north america.

true edf fans would buy it regardless (as seen on youtube, ex: ps5 north american users buy with or without translations). its an arcade'y type game after all.

i feel you man, me and my friends had to wait almost a year to see edf 5 when it was first released. i know time will pass, and its release is inevitable, but tbh, im conflicted whether:

a.) if they did have the pc port ready already during the games debut/release, is it better to publish on all supported platform all at once while the hype is real?

or

b.) release one platform at a time to build momentum and even more hype for the next scheduled platforms' release (in this case, pc/steam) ... B is agonising as u and i are aware since it takes like a year for this to materialise.

I just hope 6 is not as plain as 5 was. All the QoL were super good(except for wingDiver) but the missions felt meh after some time.

Id rather keep rolling and dashcancellin in more fun missions, where the alien dont look just like us lol. At least until they release edf6 in steam.

As someone who imported the PS5 version. It does have some missions from 5 due to story reasons but pretty much all new missions are a massive improvement from 5 and all the enemy types are amazing additions. It improves on 5 in every single way.

They obviously do, but I think we can also conclude by now that it is just not a priority for them. EDF 6 was released almost a year ago now, and we don't even have any kind of word about an English version.

I try not to be offended about it. They don't prioritize non-Japan releases, and that's how it's going to be. I will either import it or wait patiently.

In typical EDF fashion they release it to the West about 1 year after their release and then to consoles 1st. After that they release it to PC.

So, we are right around the window of Western Console release.

I think I remember an interview where they were surprised by the amount of sales they got on PC and would put more focus on a port next time, so the usual long delay between Western console release and PC/Steam might not be the case this time.

They don't care, Only time we get E.D.F is when japan servers & buyers interest die off, We get the sloppy seconds once no more Japanese / Chinese / Korean interest is left. They did the same thing with E.D.F Iron Rain & 5 the game dropped with DLC Seperate we got more dlc later down the line.

Yeah, I want E.D.F 6. The new vehicles look amazing, it's a crime they are still region locking the game.

People don't care if its translated or not, Give us access damn you.
Fans will translate it themselves like what happened with Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires. DW9E Failed not cause no translation till 4 months later but because the gameplay was dog ♥♥♥♥♥.

Every game press event that passes by with no EDF6 news makes me more and more worried that we're just not getting EDF6 in english at all.
