One single bit of advice

Some tutorials for the door locks would be helpful. I got stuck on the direction locks initially until I pressed every button on my keyboard. other than that, the game is pretty good.

Was stuck at the lock as well, for me it was the arrow buttons on the keybord that allowed me to progress...

its a puzzle lock kinda defeats the purpose i found the clue for that lock its the Maze on a paper and the directions

I just played the demo for 35 minutes and, IMO, none of the puzzles I encountered need adjusting. Ultimately, if a player becomes stumped and can't proceed, they can just google or ask someone for the solution.

Agreed. The first run will be more difficult because you're just figuring out the game, but I've done several more runs and they were all much quicker because I understood what I was looking for. The puzzles are great and I hope there will be an even greater variety at launch.

the issue wasn't the puzzle itself but the controls. I didn't know that you had to use the arrow keys to move the lock since there was no indication for it.

Yes, 100% for me as well, it was not the puzzle but how to operate it.

I would also say there should be an explanation to use arrow keys, as i didn't need to use them in this game before this puzzle at all. Had to google it after being stuck for 15 min. Still its not in the game yet but recommend adding it

Who ever thought having to let go of the mouse to use your second hand on the keyboard for a puzzle's controls was a good idea?
The mouse and keyboard controls in this game are terrible and this is one of the most baffling choices.

The controls seem very odd to me. I am playing with mouse and keyboard and got stuck in the very first room. I had the newspaper hint and the door with four letters. I looked around again and I inspected the locking mechanism several times, since obviously I was still missing one hint (what order the letters needed to go in). That it had to do with the shapes they were surrounded in was obvious. But what I could not work out at all, was how to turn the stupid newspaper over to SEE the second hint.

The game looks amazing, but no idea how you are supposed to work through puzzles if half the hint is missing or there is no hint whatsoever, what controls you are supposed to use. Shame, but I doubt I'll invest money in a game that already frustrates me in the first couple of minutes.

for the arrow puzzle I just used the mouse to click on the arrows until the one I wanted came up
