How to change the size of the playing area?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to change the size of the playing area. Currently, I just have a small playing area at the center of the screen with a huge background around. I've tried to change some settings in the options but it didn't help.
Is it possible to have a (much) larger playing area and how?

ive tried this too especially when playing on a portrait display. can't figure out how to make it larger. its kind of odd the way it is. Should be able to zoom in on the playing field way more than you can.

I found my answer in another thread. I had been looking for it in the graphic options but it's located in the gameplay options (see the zoom feature).

The right analog stick zooms it in and out.
