Doesn't recognize PS5 controller....

My controller is turned on, detected by steam but this game seems to be the ONLY one that I can't use it with, any other ps5 controller owners get this as well?

Try a program called DualsenseX. it works for me for this game and the new pinball fx beta on egs among a few older titles i play on emulators (it makes the pc think its an xbox controller while still giving you all the cool ♥♥♥♥ that comes with a ps5 controller)

No issues with PS5 controller here, make sure Steam controller settings has the PS5 controller selected as on.

There is no ps5 only selection it's just Playstation support.
