Tetris effect with 4 players

Is it possible to play this game in following setup:
3 players using same Xbox (3 controllers)
1 player using PC

All 4 players in same game?

We tried this the other night but were unable. For some reason only in offline coop mode we were able to add 3 players to play against AI. When we went to online room it only allowed one player to be added on Xbox side and one on PC side.

I believe that online play only allows one player per console even with friends currently due to how the servers operate. This might be changed in the future however.

This is correct! Sadly there's no way to play with a combination of local multiplayer + online multiplayer. We've been asked about this suggestion many times, but unfortunately it's not possible.
