How is the Switch version?
Is it worth it? Is it lagging?

It’s playable but a bit rough. I played quite a bit this weekend and it crashed about 5 times. I also had one 3 to 4 second freeze my first match of zone battle but thankfully that was the only time it happened. Visuals are downgraded significantly and gameplay is less smooth than tetris99 to use an easy comparison. It lags pretty bad in certain moments like connected mode when the garbage gets sent to the boss, or when clearing blocks in purify. It feels like 30 fps, coming from pc tetris effect at 120 fps, tetris99 felt slow and clunky, but after a couple days of switch tetris effect, tetris99 was “wow, so smooth”.

Why are there some crashes? It is a bit annoying to play with the fear of having one...

I think it’s network related with creating and closing multiplayer games. It hasn’t happened during gameplay or during journey mode. The 3-4 second freeze was during gameplay but only happened once.

Are you playing after your Switch has been in Sleep Mode? I've noticed I get way better performance if I make sure I've exited the game completely and opened it up before playing multiplayer :)

Rough? Ehh. Not sure if we played the same game. Have it on Switch, it runs pretty darn well so far. There are some slight dips in framerate but not at all often. There are fewer particle effects overall but I didn’t find it detracting from the experience on consoles or PC. Of course, they’d have to tone it down somehow for it to run optimally.

Bought it on my Switch a few days ago cause I just got the OLED model. It looks fantastic in handheld mode. I haven't bought this anywhere else so I can't do a comparison of the visuals, but I think it looks excellent, and I had no crashes, slowdown, or other issues... aside from never getting into a co-op game cause I never get a third person (but that's not a Switch issue since crossplay is a thing).
