The Price Argument

I've seen a few posts talking about if the price is justified or not, all I wanna say is this is my third time buying the game.

Tetris is fun therefore I don't mind the price.

This is my second time purchase :-)

Now the game not only feature journey mode (fun visual audio experience)
Challenge mode (every kind of challenge you could think of)
Online and offline multiplayer (coop or competitive)

Also, unlike console players, you could access server free and lots of player from cross-platform.

Even with out the killing soundtrack, the game is the solidest Tetris game on Steam.
This is really good price.

Third, PS4 when it was originally released, then Windows Store, because I couldn't wait... then here.

The fact of the matter here is whether or not all the Fancy high production value ♥♥♥♥ in Tetris Effect is worth it for you Personally.
If someone thinks the game looks neat, thinks the Music is cool, and wants to play Online, or Use VR, then Maybe they'll think the price is fine.

If someone thinks the price is too much for Tetris then I guess they don't care about any of this extra Fluff the game has, and there's nothing wrong with that too.

Basically there are only so many ways to go about this, If you want to play just Basic Tetris, you can play the NES version, if you want to play Modern Tetris I'm sure you can find tons of Website versions offering that.
If you want Tetris, but also with a bunch of Neat Visuals and Bonus modes and content, then Your options to my knowledge are pretty much This game Tetris effect, or Tetris DS if you want the Tetris games with the most Extra Content to them.

If someone doesn't want to shell out extra cash for a Tetris that's fine, but it's not like Tetris effect is some cheaply made cash grab, This game and Tetris DS might be the two best Tetris games, when it comes to variety of content and Production value.

For a cash grab, look at Tetris Ultimate by Ubisoft. lol. It's now removed from the Steam store, but does anyone remember how horrible that game was? Crashed constantly and the music & visuals were incredibly boring.

I guess the game Chess Ultra on Steam is a huge failure, then. After all, it's "just Chess." Its fancy 3D environments and VR support won't be able to save it from people playing it for free on chess.com!

Yeah the crashes were just stupid, despite the game being a fair addition to the Tetris line-up IMO. Ubisoft did NOTHING to fix the crashes on the Steam version. ZERO! We had to fix the crashes by setting the game to run in Windows 7 compatibility mode! You know you messed up when you can't fix something the community can.

The Question if the Price is justified has to be answered by everyone for himself. I personally think its okay because of the sheer amount of gameplay and gametime you can get out of this game. Also i like the chilling vibe it has even though i miss the Tetris Theme in some shape or Form sometimes.

Also is 30 Bucks not that high of a Price considering the Pricerange that video Games are normally in.

But i can also see the Argument that 30 Bucks for Tetris is very high for some people when you can get the Basic Experience for Free on so many Sites without even need of a Download. If you are not Interested in the Modes the game has to offer the Price might seem High.

I just think its Unfair to expect this game to be 5 - 10 Bucks when its clear that a lot of Artistic work went into the Game. If you would be willing to pay that then wait for a sale which is perfectly legit. But outright Ignoring the work and Quality of the Game sounds wrong to me

Enhance deserves all our money. I bought the game on Steam and PS4, both of which on the day after the Connected update dropped on PS4, Epic and Steam.
