would you be willing to look into the ghoul issue for me? i can handle the not been able to necromancy people as its balancing, limited recruitment numbers you can get etc but would you be able to do a mod that allows the ghoul to equip armour and weapons like the skeleton can and link me it please? dont know much about modding this, but might be a simple case of copying some code from skeleton character or even just changing a "can equip armour and weapons" value to yes on the ghoul

Necromancy on normal charactewrs ill have to learn how necromancy works and find out from there.
Meanwhile skeletons have been dead a long time, they are more 'true' and 'hardcore' manifestations of undeath and the old gods, more coherent and capable.
There isn't anything official about this, just my guess.
Wouldn't hurt to make ghouls more useful though.
Still don't explain why they cant pick up a pointy stick and go brrrrrrrrr or the fact they get all the injuries (food poisoning worms poisen i think and bleeding) that a normal living character would get XD or even that skeletons can have their mind meter go down despite the lack of a brain XD
i'd love to see this game remade in another engine bigger team, less bugs more features include a prologue fall of the dungeons bit/ expand on the lore etc, didnt much like the look of the second one with the more modern daytake
Curious though with the revivable issue, did you just look into making the party members ex: dark priest knight etc revivable through necromancy once they die? and it was too much work, would that be the same case for non playible npcs you can never recruit into your party such as the wounded knight near the iron Shakespeare, or Lord Ludwig Buckman etc the other party of that entered the dungeon before you?
from reading what you've typed trying to mod in a way to "resurrect" them as party members unchanged to join you/revivible when they die, yeah i can see how complicated that would be XD few of them were never ment to be playible so you'd have to make a whole bunch of assets. was thinking you were more trying to enable the same generic necromancy that the dark priest uses at certain skeleton spots and on ghoul npcs when they fall in battle, so you just get a generic ghoul?
either way looking forward to the link for the ghoul weapons and armour mod :D pity there isnt a workshop for this game
