Shadow Pantheon is amazing
This level is a masterpiece imo. So many clever encounters and monster placement, it blows my mind how it all flows together.

This was a top notch map that I never wanted to end. Hardcore Mazu vibes but with its own personality.

Visually, it's fantastic, but it's too big and too convoluted, like many of the maps in the game.

I wish they were longer. These maps are the perfect blend of exploration and combat.

I found this map incredibly annoying, especially considering you only have one chance to get the bridge secret under the blue key when it is opening. I missed it and there is no way to restart the mission so I have to start the entire game from scratch just to get this secret. Mind blowingly stupid design.

You can't put a soul tether down before it opens, and then just reload infinitely until you get it? I find that highly unlikely.

He would to have known before hand.

Agree.

You guys are used to really linear, small games eh?
Average HCM map enjoyer here just to say I agree with you OP. People who think the maps in Wrath are too long or too complicated should be sent to the Abyss of The Troglodytes :humiliation:

I liked it as well, pretty good.

And The Rending Chambers! So good. The whole third hub is awesome.

Rending Chambers is not for the weak:lunar2019grinningpig:. Yeah, one of the best levels in the game.

It moves between cramped and tight to big open setpieces really well. Secret hunting was really fun in that one in particular.

So you must sent also the first developers of Wrath in Dwell...because they think the same. Also the Abyss of Troglodytes is fun, not boring.

🤣

There's a 0% chance you think that if you think Wrath's maps are too long and confusing, lol.

Yes, I completely agree! This is one of the best levels in the game! I love the huge intricate levels in the style of the modern similar homemade maps for Q1. I'm even thinking - is there a level in similar games that is even bigger and more complicated in the good sense of the word? Probably some of the homemade levels for Q1, but I'm not sure... Maybe some levels from Graven or Karm? It's fun not only to cut meat, but also to look for multiple secrets and generally explore the area. Also, The Burrows level is very cool in similar parameters for me! If someone doesn't like such levels, then why do you even play such games? What else did you expect from the nestling of the great Quake?
