Yes - ive been stuck playing it for like 40h now ... its a great roguelike with tons of roguelike content... The enviourment dosent change up much tho
i launched it out of curiosity and spent like 12hours on it in a single session
My friend bought it on a whim and spent 8 hours straight on the first boot-up. I then watched him for an hour and immediately bought it when I got home. To be honest I haven't booted it up yet because I currently don't have 4 hours to lose, but I already love it from the time I saw my friend playing.
If you like roguelike/lite but prefer to have time to think rather than needing lightning reflexes (like me), then YES. Get it.
I think it's a great game, but for me it lost a lot of the luster once I got past the first run. It starts adding (often crippling) modifiers to your runs, in addition to adding the original final boss as a regular boss that you can meet really early. I guess these are meant to be like "ascendancy levels" or something, but I feel like that sort of content should be after you finish the main game's bosses and story, not in the middle of the game. I would love if you could at least turn the modifiers off or even go back and do the original run again, but once you pass that, you can't do it again on the same save file.
Just a couple things to think about.
Compared to similar games in this genre, I'd say its worth playing.
It's a relatively easy game in this genre. If you're looking for a serious challenge, it's not really there (only slightly in the postgame). If you want a fairly simple challenge that can still kill you, you'd probably like it. It's a fun game, but the trickiest part is the lack of some information or confusion about some of the rules until you use them.
if you enjoy getting ***** over and over by rng go for it. But id say just hiting yourself in the face is the cheaper way for such pain.
Very enjoyable game I would recommend --- except for Vlad the Commander
I'm bad at the game so bleh.
1 of the best turn based single hero tactical.
It also has Divinity Original Sin style of "elemental reaction" to each element and ground surface
It's quite a hard game and requires a lot of attention, so you have to be in the right vibe to enjoy it. But also you feel very achieved once you finish it.

Me too, once I finished few floors/ levels, now I cannot finish first boss, so I quit with this game.
Get Humble Monthly for September, get this and seven other games that you might possibly like.
