Q: Can you explain who each of the characters are, and why you chose them for that role?
A: This is going to be long, so I'll keep this short.

Ruby: Once a troubled Wild Elf named Reuben, Azura began noticing several things off about him. Azura developed a deep connection with him, and one day petrified and reshaped him into the gorgeous Uruseiyan Idol she is today. They've been inseperable ever since, as Azura managed to see the truth in Ruby when Ruby herself couldn't.
Why Cadence?
Ruby is strong and confident. Also she's the first character you unlock and Wraith loves her most. Weee, authorservice!

Megumi: Once two Sound Elementals on a warring planet, they fused together into a Harmony Elemental named Megumi, whose wonderous voice and incredibly charismatic disposition caused a truce all around the world. When her job was finished, she willingly let herself disperse, but her soul remained and wound up at MSF High, where she teaches music class for the 1st year students.
Why Melody?
Megumi is basically a god of harmony. Melody kills enemies with music. It doesn't take long to figure out.

Sonia: A good for nothing, talentless hack. Though she always dreamt of singing. Unfortunately, she was completely tone deaf. She spent most of her life living with her best friend, Alice, and job-hopping. One day, though, she saw an ad for a magical favor. Long story short, a group of magical loansharks gave her the voice of an angel, but demanded payment forever, in larger and larger quantities. She couldn't keep up with it all. One day, though, a wandering legion ship crashlanded nearby. She immediately joined up with them, but alas, they were all obliterated on their way back to their home...

Why Dorian?
Tersh sings heavy metal. That means he's tough, fast, and hardy, right? Just like Dorian? Right?

Rainier: A group of connected AIs designed by Latham to monitor the students learning at a hidden Watcher academy. the problem was that Latham was working against the watchers in secrecy, and Rainier managed to help a couple escape. He was dismantled later, but in a last ditch attempt to save himself, sent a signal with his data out into the galaxy, where it was intercepted at MSF, where he was given a real Watcher body (Several, in fact!)
Why Eli?
BOMBS! SO MANY BOMBS! EVERYWHERE!

Malorie: A rising martial artist that frequents the battle arena. She wears flashy outfits during combat, but seems very modest outside of it. She has a secret, though. She wants to lose a fight. Not that she'd ever throw, mind you. She thinks as a Fire Elemental, she represents the burning desire to improve. And yet, if she is ever defeated, she will fall madly in love with whoever it was that struck her down.
Why Monk?
Because Monks = Martial Artists. Totally. ...And she cares not for wealth, only love.

Simone: Previously a boy in a peaceful altearthean france, where WW2 never happened. That didn't stop him from being struck with debt and living in poverty. I'm not sure of his death circumstances, but he woke up at MSFH changed into Simone, the way she is now.

Urk: An orc with unknown origins. One day, he got hurt and stepped into Nurse Keiri's office, promptly being turned into a fairy. Why? So the bandage would fit, of course! She's taken a liking to the change, though.
Why Coda?
Because you have to be as badass as Urk to do well as Coda. Also fae are tiny and squishy and nimble.

Nanako: One of the highest ranking members of the Castaway Treaty Systems, a BioWarp Commander. She led an assault on a Golden Alliance station to retrieve an artifact, but it activated and teleported her (and her entire mech) to the school.
Why Bolt?
Because CATS are SUPER FAST! YEAH! HAVE YOU EVER SEEN ONE DART OUT OF THE ROOM AT TOTAL RANDOM?

Donovan: A criminal from an unnamed planet ruled by a corrupt church, he was betrayed by his partner and burned to death. He woke up later at the school changed into a Dark Elf. Main character of the comic!
Why Bard?
Donovan tends to speak before he thinks, and often does the same with actions. Obviously, he charged into the crypt first thing and grabbed the lute, changing him into the Necrodancer. Now everyone has to go save him.


Q: Okay, that was really long. But why do Sonia and Simone change into different things when i pick up the Karate Gi/Obsidian armor?
A: Consort disguises! An ability of the Legion is to shapeshift into any race they've previously converted. Sonia changes into Lucretia, a Valkyrie artist, while Simone changes into a human version of herself.

Q: Why does Fenris still sing with the male shopkeeper voice?

Q: Who are the NPCs?
A: I'm not gonna get vey long-winded into this, so I'll give a very brief idea.

Kasumi: Lost Princess of the Nekopotomian Empire, also the Vice Principal.
Misa: An Inspired bunnygirl that works for Fenris, often writing articles for the school's paper.
Hwang: Martial Arts teacher. Part Wood Elf.
Kim: Gym teacher. Wood Elf. Pushes students waaay beyond their limits.
Ilushia: Super-strong Legion girl that uses a boulder hammer.
Penguins: The schools custodians. You heard me.
Miss Howl: A wolfgirl that hangs around the city, selling items to whoever finds her...

Fenris: Enslaved Dark Elf of the Castaway, she was finally freed when it was destroyed, and now she runs the most successful business in Mahou City, FenrisCo, partially to teach others about the dangers of contracts... Oh, and she's the Magic teacher.
Tulip Blossom: Art Teacher, she's an absentminded Fairy.
Dr. Danielson: Human from an altearth where literally every conspiracy theory is true. Easily confused, very disorganized. Teaches language, when he can at least.
Keiri: School's Nurse. A trip to her office almost guarantees a change of race or even gender. You may just end up liking what you get, though...
Lisa: Celebrity Entropy Elemental from a moon, opened a portal to MSF one day on accident. Very crazy.

Q: Why is Simone's clone unchanged? And why is Rainier's Clone just him with red eyes?
A1: Simone is a mega narcissist. If she had the opportunity, she would surround herself with... herself. Likewise, the clones are all a representation of her inner fantasies and desire to spread herself. The clones aren't trying to kill her, they're trying to overwhelm her with her own dreams until she can't function. Or maybe I'm just being silly to excuse laziness.
A2: Rainier's clone is one of his spare bodies being inhabited by... something that isn't him.

Q: What are some of the races in this?
A: Honestly, I could spend time explaining them but we'd be here forever. Look into it yourself. The two you really need to know about are Watchers, three-eyed beings that observe the galaxy, and Legion, all-female plantgirls with a connection to the planet and the ability to change others into more of them. Though, they DO have a bad history of attempted galactic domination. Not of their own free will, though...

Q: What in this mod did you make?
A: I followed the character sprites mostly to keep with the artstyle. The exceptions are Lucretia and Urk, as well as every NPC, done from scratch.. The non-sprites are done by Aakashi/Azura/Akuoreo. I also did the spellbooks.

Q: Why does Megumi's hair rapidly shift colors?
A: Megumi, as a harmony elemental, has hair that shifts through the rainbow faster the happier she is. And she is SO FREAKING ELATED to be chaperoning fro the field trip.
