Since I ran out of character space on the Description page I've moved the rest of the notes to this discussion. The purpose of this is to inform you guys on what to expect when you install this mod, where to go if you need any help, and other information related to this compilation.

  • Make sure to ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR SAVED GAMES WHEN TRYING OUT NEW MODS. You may lose items or lose access to your character with the mod off.

  • There are over 80 different mods in this compilation.

  • If you're having any problems, check out the FAQ Thread. If your problem isn't addressed there, let me know what trouble you're having at the Troubleshooting Discussion. Put Torchlight II Essentials at the top of your Selected Mod Order if you're having any bugs or errors due to conflicts with other mods.

  • You may notice that certain aspects of some mods are missing. I've made a lot of tweaks and changes to many of the mods in order to keep things balanced and to make sure the mods that conflict play nice with eachother and are well-integrated into a coherent system. I've also added plenty of my own content, ranging from new loot items to my own visual flourishes. This mod started out as a simple collection of "essential" mods, then it evolved into a personal project of doing everything I could to make the game "better" in my eyes. It's become much more than just a collection of mods combined into one.

  • This compilation should work fine with SynergiesMOD.

  • This mod will bind to your character. Use the Mod Unbinder to play without it.

  • I made a collection of my favorite texture packs along with a SweetFX configuration that I'd recommend trying out if you want to spice up the way the game looks. It includes the enhanced retextures created by Thoughtcrime and the texture overhaul pack created by Stormchaser, along with installation instructions.
