# Release 0.4.4: RHS: Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

Russian Federation armed forces brought to Arma 3 in full glory! Dozens of vehicles of every variety, units and weapons, all modeled and textured to the finest details and packed with features.

# Content

The mod contains a a large array of content representing almost all branches of the Russian military. When you download the pack this is what you can expect to find inside:

## Units

- Several scratch built, accurate uniforms in various camo patterns.
- Bulletproof and loadout vests like the 6B13, 6B23 and 9Sh92.
- Headgear, such as the 6B27 and ZSh-7A.
- New custom backpacks.

## Vehicles

- The whole line of BTR APC's.
- Infantry Fighting Vehicles such as the BMP and BMD series.
- Russian T series tanks as well as the more exotic 2S25 Sprut-SD.
- Artillery, conventional as well as rocket. Also some nukes.
- Choppers and planes, transport and attack versions.
- Soft bodied cars and trucks.

## Weapons

- AK rifles with a large selection of attachments.
- Sniper rifles.
- Various RPG models.

## Features

The mod doesn't just come with content. This is after all a total modification! Expect to see the following things:

- Carefully crafted and fully functional Fire Control Systems for vehicles.
- Fire From Vehicles added where appropriate.
- Conformity to the newest features present in Arma 3 (bipods, slingloading etc.)
- Interaction with weapons and vehicles.
- New, realistic effects.
- Custom and random decals in the form of emblems and vehicle numbers.
- And many many more...

# Release 0.4.4: RHS: Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

This is the release note accompanying RHS: Armed Forces of the Russian Federation 0.4.4 release. The mod consists of four modules: Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, United States Armed Forces, Serbian Armed Forces and GREF.

## Installation

### Steam Workshop

Subscribe to the mods of your choice and they will be kept up to date by the Steam Worshop updater.

### Manual Installation

Unpack the three folders (@RHSAFRF, @RHSUSAF, @RHSSAF and @RHSGREF, note that if you downloaded them separately then the following instructions apply to either/or) from the downloaded archive into the root of Arma 3 installation. Unpack the sample missions into the `Missions` folder in the Arma 3 root. Add the mods to the start up using either your favourite launcher or by adding the `-mod=@RHSAFRF;@RHSUSAF;@RHSGREF;` to the launch options of Arma 3 in Steam. Copy the `.bikey` file to the `Keys` folder in Arma 3 root.

### Requirements

**NOTE: RHSGREF REQUIRES BOTH RHSAFRF AND RHSUSAF TO RUN**
**NOTE: RHSSAF REQUIRES BOTH RHSAFRF AND RHSUSAF TO RUN**

## Usage

All the contents of the mod can be found in the Mission Editor. The sample missions can be found in `Play > Scenarios`. The Multiplayer missions can be found in the list of scenarios that is displayed when creating a server.

@Reyhard well i have few mods, is there maybe some that are problem? I have these CUP and few smaller ones, maybe 3-4 not sure, not big at all. Anyway got problem with 2S25 tank too, not sure for others but I'm not able to drive or anything, my screen is glitched when I'm inside.

So i was checking out mods for GTA 5 when i saw this,

The player model and the ak look like the were ripped straight from your AFRF mod. No credit to you guys were found in the description just bohemia.

I don't know if they contacted you for permission to use your models or what but I thought I would let you know.

@ Not Erik - first 3 errors are caused by Arma bug - making any changes in pylon tab switches control over the weapons to random seats (i.e. Firing From Vehicle ones on Mi-24) and you can either wait for next Arma patch (1.78), don't touch pylon tab or try to fix pylon ownership everytime you do some changes - notice small icon next to the weapon tab - it's for onwership control.

as for 4th
Su-25 we have in mod doesn't have any sensors at all (except SPO-15 Beryoza RWR which is modeled in cockpit and is fully functional). If you want to use Kh-29 or 25 missiles then follow instructions in description of this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrION09pv8E

@Reyhard I will divide in 4 parts:
ATGMs on helis (Russian, of couse)
-Those were supposed to be laser/radio guided, similar to some hellfires, tows, etc. They don't work at all, just fire straight.

ATGMs on helis are "controled" (if worked) by the pilot, and not by the gunner
-ATGMs are used by gunners because gunners usualy have laser and camera to guide this kind of ordinance

ATGMs on helis at the outside pylons don't show at all
-All weapons at the outside Pylons don't appear at all and don't count in the ammo count.
ATGMs on planes (SU-25 at least)

ATGMs on planes don't work at all
No locking, no wire guided, no camera for wire guided/TV guided. They don't work at all. Also, no radar or sensors on the SU-25, that might be the problem.

@ GOGOBAR!!!111!! - by default you can toggle radar range with ctrl+] - it's arma keybind so check your controls
@ Not Erik - what's your issue precisely?
@ Mad Brother[SRB] - are you using other mods?
