This is a collection of all the rats map I can find in the CS:GO Workshop. If you have found a map that is not in this collection or if you know a server that plays these maps, please leave a comment below! I will add them to the collection as soon as possible ;-)



+++++ What are "rats" maps? +++++

Rats maps are maps where the players seems to be very tiny in comparison to their environment. For example: "de_dolls" is a rats map where the players fight in an girls room that is also lovely called the "Hello Kitty world". The Counter-Terrorists start under the bed and the Terrorists in the cupboard. Both teams can use mouse holes in the walls to enter or leave several objects like furniture or corridors behind the walls. As the name of the map says, de_dolls is a bomb map. The Terrorists have to plant the bomb inside a doll's house, that is standing on the top of the bed.

Other maps like "de_rats_1337" also contains household items, like a oven or a fridge, where the player gets damaged due to the heat or the cold (just for example). Most rats maps contain traps that would be deadly for rats in real life. So it's a lot of fun to play them!



+++++ Are there special settings needed to play them? +++++

Generally not, because rats maps are not different to normal maps like de_dust2 except that they are bigger, so that it seems as the player would be very tiny. Some players prefer to play these maps with a low gravity, so that it is possible to jump across the map. Therefore you need settings like this:

sv_gravity 100
The default value is 800. The smaller the value the lower the gravity - 0 is a bad idea ;-)

sv_airaccalerate 100
The default value is 10. To set this on 100 allows you to turn you around, during a jump, without loosing all speed.



+++++ Maps that are not available at the Workshop +++++

Some maps are not available at the Workshop and uploaded on external websites. If it is possible for me I will upload those maps myself, which for some is not possible, as for example they are too large. In this case I will link the maps below.
