Actually I really enjoyed Towns and probably played it around 40 hours prior to it even being released on Steam.
It almost seems like a reaction to the War Z fiasco. It would certainly seem possible to add something like this and "release" it in the couple of months since then. It's a little weird, either way, that the War Z isn't in this section of the store. Or has that game moved past the foundation release milestone?
So it's great that Valve continues to try new things, but this just seems pretty meh all around. I'll try to stay positive about it and look at it as a new "Buyer-beware" section of the store.
