Try unsubbing the mods and sub them again

I am having the same problem. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it didn't help at all.

Same here! After deleting the appcache folder all mods and buildings are gone. Uninstalled all and subsribed it again, but only have buildings - no mods! But I see the mods in the Steamworks tab...

Exactly the same. Mods are still subscribed in the Workshop of Steam, but no mods in the game (all local files deleted and game re-installed)... Help please !

goto steam library then choose the game & verify local cache. This will verify files & re-download those missing mod / asset files.

Same here. I have verified my cache about four times, restarted Steam umpteen times, restarted my computer, deleted and then reinstalled the game---all attempts have failed to resolve the issue. It first stated with the game not loading at all. It would hang on the Paradox logo screen, and then a few minutes later a message would pop up saying there was a problem with the game. Really? Now, after the reinstallation, the game started once or twice, but I soon noticed that most of the mods and assets I'd previously subscribed to were no longer active---even though it said I was still subscribed to them. I unsubscribed and resubscribed, and when I tried to play the game again, it would not load at all. Same as before---message telling me there was a problem and cities.exe would not work. Really, really frustrated with this game. It's been a lot of fun WHEN it has worked as it is supposed to do, but more often than not, it has not worked.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I have done seriously anything I can think of. Now that I see more than one person with this problem I think it's a problem with the game/steam rather than my computer. :( I hope it gets fixed. Subbing to this discussion for any solution.

A hotfix release for Traffic++ has just been published that fixes several crashing bugs on the latest 1.1.0 release of Cities:Skylines.

Steam should update the mod automatically. If you encounter any problems with Traffic++ since the patch, please let us know here:

I uninstalled the game and reinstalled to try and fix a crash problem after downloading some maps.
now it wont download the maps I subscribed to.
I had like 100 maps. I can't unsub and resub so many items.
