@thompse412 I could put some effort into remaking this in the following week or so, but I have other personal things right now. Honestly haven't thought of this mod until your comments, lol.

so, I just now saw that this hasn't been updated in 2 years; in case it's not obvious to folks, this is highly incompatible with Holy Fury. Recent additions to the map are empty, and none of the historical bloodlines exist (I can only assume that new ones can't be formed, either)

noice, now even if lombardy survives charlie's expansion it would most likely suffer decades of internal strife, this gives me a chance for my mullahabid (africa sultanate, not egypt) run, i can finally get a chance to expand before they holy war my ass off

@Brunwulf Well the Bavarian dynasty, due to being descended from the Lithingi, which were the kings before Audoin of the Gausian clan took power, were seen as the legitimate descendents of the original kings, which is why Theodelinda and her Daughter Gundeperga were allowed to chose their new husbands as kings, since the Lombard nobles believed they, through their husbands and sons, were the rightful heirs to the throne.

Actually the Gausian of Benevento sounds more like the true inheritors of Lombardy as descendant of Alboin of Lombardy. But good idea
