Ok, thank you, I might try it out.:steamhappy:
Erik1988  [author] Apr 16, 2019 @ 1:14pm
Yes you can use this on Legendary. If you are looking for the special edition you can use this link: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/670/

Is nordic snow available on Legendary edition????????
:steamhappy:
Erik1988  [author] Jun 7, 2017 @ 10:49pm
you most likely have some loose files in data/textures/. they will always overwrite esp files.
Ludicade Jun 7, 2017 @ 3:44pm
I downloaded and moved it pretty far up on the loading scheduale but it's still not showing up in the game.
lupus_hegemonia Dec 3, 2016 @ 12:00pm
The "look" of the environment of my Legendary version, already looking awesome! Currently, I'm subscribing GAMEPLAY or QUESTS mods, there are more important to me... But I think I fix it somehow, your snow looks now, in my game... Thxs.
Erik1988  [author] Dec 3, 2016 @ 4:17am
For an imporved look I would recomend using the loose files from my SE version. They still work in normal skyrim. The reason is that hq snow texure is not updated for the latest changes in my nordic snow.
Erik1988  [author] Dec 3, 2016 @ 4:14am
@lupus_hegemonia if you dont see the textures ingame then you probably have lose files in your /data/texure/ folder. An easy fix is to download my lose file from nexus and owerwrite everything.
lupus_hegemonia Dec 3, 2016 @ 1:30am
No, nothing like that. Don't know, maybe is not... activated and didn't noticed!
Wahots:HTPC Nov 30, 2016 @ 11:29am
It IS a subtle mod, but it should improve the look a bit.
Wahots:HTPC Nov 30, 2016 @ 11:29am
@lupus_hegemonia: hmm, do you have your textures set to "high/ultra" in settings? Sounds silly, but...I do notice a difference. This makes the snow sparkle like real ice crystals on a sunny day.
lupus_hegemonia Nov 30, 2016 @ 7:04am
I've downloaded (first) the official High-Res texture pack, while afterwards I ported this mod too.
To be honest, I don't see any much of difference, better snow or so...
lupus_hegemonia Nov 28, 2016 @ 2:24am
Hello to all. Can you tell me, give me advice, which mod to use to improve ALL WEATHER textures/feel/look, not just the snow?

Regards to any answer.
Wahots:HTPC Nov 13, 2016 @ 6:26pm
@Forine yes, it will. Won't matter if you have a newer GPU, but if you have a laptop or older GPU, it will. You can use a program called "Fraps" as an FPS counter to see before/after framerates.
silly_lillie Nov 12, 2016 @ 4:12am
Does this affect performance at all?

When it comes out it will be named "Nordic Snow".
Erik1988  [author] Nov 1, 2016 @ 4:41am
Yes, I will as soon as I get my hands on the creation kit.
Captain Reily Nov 1, 2016 @ 12:52am
Think you could make a version for Xbox One?
Erik1988  [author] Oct 28, 2016 @ 7:25am
There is a version for Special Edition available here (Nexus):
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/670/?

Make sure to check it out!
Wahots:HTPC Sep 28, 2016 @ 7:15pm
Oh, thank you!
Erik1988  [author] Sep 27, 2016 @ 11:32pm
Im glad you liked it. I have done a retexture of riften and some of them are soil, but thats it.

I would recomend checking it out if you like the vanilla feel, but want better quality:

Wahots:HTPC Sep 27, 2016 @ 2:52pm
This is great! have you done any soil retextures?
locdog Jul 7, 2016 @ 2:29pm
This snow is snowy. Brrr.
Erik1988  [author] Jun 16, 2016 @ 7:17am
@pijmzhchus57.exe.
Yes you can!
Pijmzhchus57 Jun 16, 2016 @ 7:13am
Can I run this and Official High Resolution textures?
Benzza May 29, 2016 @ 6:06pm
cool
Erik1988  [author] Dec 19, 2015 @ 3:19am
@SHINING MOON the 1024 version is better in preformance compared to the 2048, if your computer crashees after intalling it I would think that you have to many other mods so that the ram is used up. This mod does not add much MB, so its very onlikely that this one alone causes your crash, beside its only textures.

If you are already strugeling with skyrim on the lowest settings, I would not recomend to install any mods that have higher textures than vanilla (512)
LionHeart Dec 18, 2015 @ 11:56pm
no its not better for low-end computers it make them crash
Kittekassitar Oct 5, 2015 @ 2:16pm
thnks :P
Erik1988  [author] Oct 5, 2015 @ 8:49am
You can try the 1024 version. its better for low-end computers.
You can find it here:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/743/?
Kittekassitar Oct 5, 2015 @ 5:15am
It makes my game - very very slow - it lag! Where there is a lot of snow, it is impossible to play with? :S
Powerbutton2001 Jun 23, 2015 @ 5:15pm
alright thanks!!!
Erik1988  [author] Jun 23, 2015 @ 5:05pm
this texturepack have little impact on performance on most systems. However if you like a version of this that is better for low end systems, i would recomend to use the 1024 version at nexus.

Powerbutton2001 Jun 23, 2015 @ 4:36pm

I have glitches with BDN, after disabling BDN... no more glitches. I also have SMIM... hope this helps some other gammer! thanks Erik great mod, I keep yours.
Heredom Nov 23, 2014 @ 4:11pm
good job ! probably the best snow improvement for skyrim (i confirm : compatible with BDS)
Erik1988  [author] Oct 28, 2014 @ 11:47pm
This works very well with Better Dynamic Snow, so you are probably using another mod that overwrites my textures. This is just textures, so it workes with everything. @Spazegamer thats just a steam error, try running it again a few times and it usually works.
Azriael Oct 27, 2014 @ 4:35pm
It doesn't work with Better Dynamic Snow for me :/
Spazegamer Oct 13, 2014 @ 7:12am
My launcher says it failed to get a file from this addon wtf????
StarDusT_184 Oct 2, 2014 @ 8:25am
J'aime beucoup aussi.
