Very nice

Don't really need the wall behind the laser, just drop in the tin can first, and it props up the cube nicely. Love this "outdoor" scenery.
DaMaGepy  [author] Apr 10 @ 11:29am
ye, same wall, but aimin to both hit the same point is easier if you holding it thru the portal. I made my map #4 cube training to teach that :)
or you can just watch the walkthru vid if you stuck.
Steveo Apr 10 @ 5:59am
oh lol, I'll do it again. I though both lasers had to point at the same wall :P
DaMaGepy  [author] Apr 9 @ 10:59am
@Steveo: I hope you used the portal surface behind the button and aimed the cube while holding it thru it, and not just by pushing the cube in from the side. Its easy to aim the laser perfectly.
Don't worry, the second part will be less running and searching and more fun.
Steveo Apr 9 @ 10:22am
..and I really could not get that laser working no matter how much I fiddled with the cube :(
Steveo Apr 9 @ 10:15am
Don't take this the wrong way because I could see how much work had gone into it. It looked great and played great and the music was cool and really loved the outside bit... but it was just boring activation. Looking for those cubes... I just got bored. Sorry :(
Onion of Time Apr 8 @ 6:22pm
The outside feel combined with the music was really nice, I liked it, it's a good start. Can't wait for more! ^^
joeagle12000 Apr 7 @ 9:10pm
awesome made me think keep up the good work...
HECTOP MAXHO Apr 6 @ 1:16pm

Androids don't need toilets!
Stephanie_Gabriel Mar 22 @ 11:40pm
Pretty decent map. Wish there was more outside exploring or climbing though. Also, no small animals to kill and/or eat? Oh, and there is no toilet. We need a toilet! And toilet paper too, dammit! And it better be SOFT! My anus is as chaffed as a hookers vulva when the sailors are on leave.
DaMaGepy  [author] Mar 22 @ 5:54pm
I just hate the black workshop "guy", plus wanted to use the multiplayer starting (ending) area in a map. And in No Money #2 you will be the other android... just for fun
christian_saw Mar 22 @ 3:32pm
why did you use that idea in the first place? just asking, because it's an outside chamber, was it necessary to use Atlas or was it just about you liking the fact you could do it and there was nothing on purpose related to this chamber in special?
DaMaGepy  [author] Mar 22 @ 1:13pm
...except here you play an android (Atlas)... they are immune to deers and sunshine :)
christian_saw Mar 22 @ 3:42am
Excellent and clever cham... landscape!!! kkk maybe that could be the real ending for Portal 3, Chell escapes and then this... another trap! So GLaDOS have become a global threat, and now she controls everything outside Aperture... I'm not getting crazy, right? That's a good plot.
zooksman Mar 21 @ 7:38pm
This is the best community map hands down. Great job!
The_Pyro_from_Hell Mar 19 @ 7:06am
Okay, 2 things, "5 cubes is outside"

1. I counted 6 cubes
2. are, not is
DaMaGepy  [author] Mar 8 @ 8:20pm
...you left it behind, above the first chamber. If you stuck, watch the walkthrough video. :)
Dirtdog249 Mar 8 @ 6:06pm

Billy Costigan Mar 7 @ 1:29am

jshaffstall Mar 4 @ 6:27pm

Thankyou for your time and thank you to your parents for getting creative and having you. I hope they are proud as you have brought something special to this game which i hope keeps on going in lots of other directions like yours.

brilliant development
spoke264 Jan 29 @ 3:51pm
Cool man, I liked the green way. So strange to Portal 2 and amazing.
Arthur Dent Jan 8 @ 10:57am
I agree with Chewbacca's Pubes. This is one of the best hammer maps out there right now, especially since Subject X was discontinued. That's also why this needs a seequel.
jason.wartell Jan 2 @ 1:39pm
In No Money for Test Chambers 2, You could have Aperture recycle testing elements. It almost looks like they did that in the teaser pic.(1970's button)
laao500 Dec 31, 2014 @ 2:56pm
by far the best concept/idea for a portal map, this is has to be one of the most appleaing maps and challenges I've played. I hope that Valve sees this map and hires you!
Skitzum Dec 28, 2014 @ 12:08am
The best portal map I have ever played. Challenging, asthetically pleasing, and creative.
laxthesilvertongue Dec 24, 2014 @ 10:00pm
A 3 in 1 test. It's creative, and the outdoor testing was really quite refreshing. I really liked that we have to use a bit of each section of the test to help us complete this entire test. Bravo. This is one of my favorites.
Obese_Dolphins Dec 24, 2014 @ 8:55pm
I have been completely bored in portal 2 ever since I beat both campaigns, downloaded the gel courses from steam, and played a bunch of community maps, this is by far better than all of those other tests combined
DigitalFruitcake Dec 6, 2014 @ 1:49am
I've been playing a lot of workshop content for Portal 2 lately after completing the game and being left with not a lot to do. I am telling you that out of the quite numorous amount of chambers I have tried, none have given me a really satisfying feeling other than this one. The atmosphere in the exterior portions of the levels felt curious and mysterious. It sorta remind me of Halo CE and Half Life 2. The part of the puzzle with the dual lasers took me a while to figure out, and the level being open added to the difficulty with this. Running around trying to figure things out really helped to make the experience. The interior areas of the level were well-designed also, and felt like ruins.

Thankyou for making this, and please continue making these. It was honestly the best chamber on the workshop that I have tried so far, and really took me by surprise. The level was unique and interesting. I urge you to work on some more content. Just ensure you don't rush anything.

Really great map.... that's the first time I played where it was outdoors. Loved that. :)
Thanks for a great map. Loved the puzzles....definitely thought-provoking but solvable with some work....good stuff :)
