Lawsuit? What.
Protag 19 maj, 2012 @ 14:23
how will this cause a lawsuit?

well, the faces are 166, so it's far under the limit... I will think about something to add to improve it a little :)

even the slightest hint of a reference can generate a lawsuit if there isn't some sort of agreement already made. So yes, you did fail on that part. You did, however, do a good job for one of your first times. How many triangles is this mask? if it's under 700, add some more detail. Valve's general limit is around 800 (most hats in TF2 are around 800 anyways). At least, that's what I remeber reading. It might be slightly different, though not much.

thank you for the comment :) well, I have just started making items and in general I have just started using Blender and a 3D graphics program in general, so it is easier for me to make an item with a "reference" than making one from scratch. I tried to keep the reference as less recognizable as possible, but problably I didn't succeed :D

let's see: item in no way fits TF2, item could cause lawsuits if it were accepted. I think those two reasons are enough for it to never be accepted. Still, I personally like the idea, and general idea of giving the engie replacement goggles
