Finally a house mod made by someone who knows what a house needs. Fuck all of that dining hall bullshit, high level players who either nearly or have completed the game need storage and places to showcase their goods.

The mannequins in all the rooms were an AMAZING touch. I've been looking for a house mod that has mannequins for your smithing armor in a smithing room (Which you have), mannequins for alchemy and other crafting armors in a crafting room (Which you have), and better yet, IT DOESN'T FUCK WITH THE LANDSCAPE BY MAKING SOME AMAZING HOUSE THAT OVERLAPSE WITH TREES FROM LANDSCAPING MODS, RUINING THE HOUSE! It all lives inside the already existing playerhomes. Thank you so much for this seemingly perfect house mod.

Forget Breezehome. Get the riverside lodge with sauna. A great house alongside the river between Riverwood and Whiterun. And yes there is a mod for increasing book shelf space. Although the collectors vault can handle quite a lot of books. There are over a dozen tall bookcases.

Breezehome is the only home that crashes in hearthfire and dragonborn. Every now and then I get vegitation growing down from the cieling. Other than that it's great. everything I need except a bed for Lydia. (grin) I don't trust myself to modify the navmesh to fix the problem. I am not a member of nexus. DATHUS can you remake the vault to fix the breezehome crash and maybe add portals to the hearthfire homes and maybe the College of winterhold? Sorry for the wishlist.

Can anybody tell me if there is a library mod available on Steam? I collect every book I find and put them on every bookshelf I have, sadly with the mods that have to do with Breezehone, Lakeside Manor and the other plots of land you buy from the Jarls cause the game to hard crash. All I'm looking for is a library complex mod that can house several thousand books and nothing else.

I uninstalled this mod and Honeyside (I haven't checked the other houses, they could be the same) has lost the purchased upgrades and gone back to the original decor, but when I go to see the yarl to buy them, the options to buy them have gone, presumably because I've bought them already.

Has anyone got any ideas how I can fix this?

Hi. I have a problem. Game closes every time i move to Breezehome when mod is on. It's cool but I need Breezehome for some other mods.(I haven't change the Breezehome)

Does anyone know if this mod has been worked on by someone else? One of my favourite collector's room and would be a shame to let it go due it being discontinued or can anyone recommend a vault like this?

Ok the code worked and i was transported to the vault. Some of my items were there but not all. So my weps that were on the weapon racks and plaques were there but not the armour sets or all the items that were stored in the storage lockers. Is there a way of getting them back?

Hi Isis

Try going into the vault directly by typing the following into the console: coc collectorsvault

This should teleport you straight into the Vault regardless of where it sits and then hopefully you can get to your stuff.

In all honesty I haven't played Skyrim for a very long time and I certainly haven't had time to do anything with the Collector's Vault either. Couple that with not owning the DLC and hence why I discontinued work on this mod.

I'm glad that some people still enjoy using the collector's vault but it seems to be getting a bit old and even buggier these days so it's in need of a good overhaul.

Having said that I guess it's time to hand over the reigns to someone else that has the time to commit to working on and improving it.

If you would like to take over then that's fine with me, but I do have a couple of requirements:

1) It must be made clear in your description that the mod is "under new management" and is no longer my work.
2) I must be given credit for the original work. Nothing fancy, just a statement that your mod is made from the original Collector's Vault by FingersKFF.

I also have a couple of concerns. Since I haven't done any mod work for a long time I'm not sure on the mechanics behind the mod files any more. If you create a new mod would there be a risk of people losing their collection? I don't want people to end up having the original file overwritten by the new one, especially for those that don't want to change to the new version.

I would suggest that it should be made as a new mod with a different base file name so as to avoid any complications. Then users would have to run both mods in parallel to transfer their items from one to the other before removing the old one. Unless of course you know a better way around this, as I said I haven't given this any thought for a long time.

Let me know your thoughts...

@PewPew, Discontinued means There will be no more updates, It still working with Home breeze (Whiterun) exception on Heartfire. You can use my mod, to get a direct access without passing by other houses:

Really liked this mod. The set up of the chests, mannequins and weapons racks are great. It's basically a museum with utility rooms. The idea of merging this with the other vanilla houses through trap doors was really brilliant-Bethesda should have thought of that. Unfortunately, after accumulating a decent about of armor and weapons, over the course of several levels, some odd issues started cropping up; shields falling off the plaques, armor no longer showing on the mannequins, weapons "jumping" out of the display cases and so on. Enough, that I decided to pull everything and go for another approach. Again, this is great and it may be due to another mod or two I have running, but seemed to be linked to the number of items added; the more I placed in the collection, the more issues arose. Thanks again for your contribution, though.

It uses the same keys that are used to unlock the house. Just make sure you have the house key in your inventory and the trapdoor will unlock.

no worries Fingers, great mod. i know you can't buy alchemy decorations for Breezehome cause it covers trap door but didn't know about the other skyrim houses. i don't use the house alchemy and echanters table cause i use the ones in vault but i do like the appearances of them in the house instead of the clutter. thanks again!

I don't own the Hearthfire DLC or any other DLC for this game so physically can't change the mod to work with them.

Can I Update This Mod?

I have a change to this mod that i think would make it better, I would like to know how to change this mod to fit what I want. Also I would like to get permission from the author to do so. or I will create something of my own.

1. First I want to get rid of the idea that the vualt is connected through a trap door, that doesnt sit well with me. I would like it to be connected through a spell. So that when you are full of loot you can just teleport to the vault and drop the stuff.

2. connect this mod with other mods that have fixed the maniquin losing items or moving things around problem. or just say use this other mod in conjuction.

3. Name a chest for each type of armor, as well each type of weapon. maybe that would be to organized and make depositing stuff more difficult

4. Figure out why it wont work with Hearthfire. my thought is that the entrances have something to do with it.

5. Get ride of curtains and random pottery.

Firstly, I just wanted to say this mod is amazing! Secondly, I've had it for a while but just recently I have started to have some issues with it. Most notably is the that clothing and armour isn't showing up on the mannequins, plus certain weapons in display cases are now disappearing. Also when I used to save the game while in the vault, it saved as "The Collector Vault", but now it says "TestTony". Is this just an update or technical fix being preformed, or is it screwed? It's a wonderful mod, I'd love to see it fully functional again.

If not the author, can someone PLEASE move the Breezehome entrance. I can't load the Creation Kit at all. It conflicts with the Dovahkiih's hideout mod and crashes Skyrim every time I enter Breezehome. PLEASE HELP!

PLEASE come back and update your mod to work with Hearthfire, Dawnguard and Dragonborn. This is THE mod that I have been looking for all this time. THIS IS THE NUMBER ONE COLLECTOR'S MOD. At last something that has got enough manequins, etc in it. PLEASE update it. It is amongst my top 3 FAVOURITE mods. And if more people know about it, they will certainly use it. Those that are collectors anyway. FABULOUS mod.

I've discovered an issue inside of the Armory. Two of the Mannequins inside of the armory add and replace armor. I have one Mann. for Dwarven and Another for elven and on my dwarven one it's replacing the helmet and shield with elf and on the Elf it's replacing the sheild and boots with steel. Add me if you want more details on this bug.
