Here is some states,
This weapon will not damage the enemie unless its a backstab,
40% defense from enemie melee weapons
10% slower disguise time

and you cant disguise to the person you last backstabbed.(class, that is, if you backstabbed a scout its blocked until you backstab a diffrent class)

Dok's stats are ridiculously broken.
80% of spies never use their gun (not saying their good at being a spy) so this would be an all around upgrade. AND if you could only backstab, you'd never accidentally break your disguise unless the kill was guaranteed.
Seriously, come on, don't just toss out stats, actually consider how they would play out.

Fallen, those are terrible stats. They'd be like 10% more health. +5% move speed per backstab. Speed goes to regular after being put away.

the stats should be
plus 65% health
once drawn cannot be put away until it kills
only backstabs
plus 25% move speed
no random crits (not like u need them)

Interesting out of the box suggestion. @Glados: Backstabbing while invisible is overpowered. I don't know if you mean the -50% dmg to apply to backstabs as well, but let me tell you that wouldn't matter, they would still be instant kill. In fact they would do 3 times the damage of the victims health at the time of stabbing. @The Best Burns: If your intention is to make the knife a more viable weapon for direct combat, your suggestion won't make it one. You end up with less dmg per sec which is what counts basically. Aside from that imho the knife should stay week in direct combat. I'd rather see some interesting effects that effect the overall play style of the spy. Maybe sth. like instant cloak activation up to 3s after a kill, with 3s of no flickering like with the deadringer (no reduced dmg though).
