The map is not hard. I am fairly sure that if you get that far, you won't hit the fizzler. but for that one moment of careless striving and hitting the fizzler by accident, there's the escape hatch. :)

If you get past the laser and then hit the fizzler, you are stuck. the corridor is there to allow you to get back.

I like the concept, have been thinking about using it for some time but never did because of the trail and error.
I liked the map allthough I don't really get what the small corridor is for, I went there to see what it is after solving the puzzle :)

I've updated the map and made it a lot easier. I thought it would be easy to figure out the portal placement, but I've stepped a way a bit and looked as if I was new and I can see how this last part is hard and not fun, so I got rid of it. Its now easy to do the last part.

That's what I did! But the laser is always just not hitting the catcher ... because the laser is at the bottom of any possible portal (on the wall) while the catcher is centered in relation to the horizontal portal between the two lasers. As I said: frustrating. If you placed the cacher at the 'bottom' of the portal this wouldn't happen.

Anyway, I couldn't make the laser hit the catcher. It may also have to do with the auto-aming function that is not working properly when the laser travels too far ... I don't know.

@Innocentive: Weird, I am able to do it easily. Go up to the ledge above the entrance, place a portal down in between the other lasers, jump down and place a portal on the wall close to the wall of the entrance. aim the laser using the lasercube you got earlier. Perform the fling upto the exit, set your portals again and exit.

That last part has me puzzled ... but not in a good way. Why would you you make hitting the later catcher up there so difficult? Even with noclipping up and down over and over again I wasn't able to open the exit door. In fact, I couldn't find any combination of portals that I was able to shoot from above that would activate the catcher and open the door. Frustrating and, in my opinion, unnecessary...

@Stagger Lee: Thanks for your feedback. As for the last part. I kept the following in mind: You can go up there, shoot your portal, jump down, shoot at the wall, aim cube right, then perform the fling. Once up there, you can set the portals as intended.

I liked the beginning part a lot with the cube and fizzlers/lasers gauntlet. Placing the laser to hit the final catcher from up top was a little wonky to me but a good overall map.

A small hint: If you have done the first part, but you are not that good with your timing, remember you can always F6=save, and F7=load.
