Good work! I will try it as soon as I can so I can let you know my experience.

The SSE version is now available on Bethesda.net
Altbert  [tekijä] 4.11.2016 klo 13.46
I found the solution to the mod activation in SSE, and found that the conversion didn't go as expected. Folder structure in SSE is different from the original Skyrim. Color scheme is okay, but there is still blur when using the ring. When I've solved that, the mod will be available for download from Bethesda.net .
revotan 3.11.2016 klo 13.10
Appreciate your diligent work to support this mod!
Altbert  [tekijä] 3.11.2016 klo 11.35
@asmodeous17: Skyrim SE and CK64 are up and running. I have converted this mod for SSE, but don't seem to be able to test it properly. I can't get the mod activated in SSE, but trying to find a solution.
Altbert  [tekijä] 29.10.2016 klo 9.22
I will see what I can do. First see if SE supports my rig!
asmodeous17 28.10.2016 klo 6.22
I hope this gets redone for Skyrim SE
revotan 1.2.2015 klo 9.15
Yeah, you're right. As I thought about it, there is a possiblity that it would be equiped by mistake so, I guess the personal touch is in order. ;)

Still a great mod though!
Altbert  [tekijä] 31.1.2015 klo 12.29
I think it might be possible, but will take an awfull lot of programming. Brightness of light is defined by the "Fade" property. I could use that, but it doesn't have the same result in different environments (dark rocky dungeons vs icy caves). Then you have pulsating lights, lights caused by explosions, etc. I think it would be more convenient to have the ring as a favorite item (under the Q-key) and then configure it for one of the number keys (1 to 8). If I would take all this into consideration, you would probably get very frustrated of all the switching on and off of the ring!
revotan 31.1.2015 klo 7.40
@Albert: good points. I suppose the easy answer is your retinas would roast. But maybe there's a metric for ambient light so you could do a two part filter; 1) always on at night and 2) only on during day if ambient light is less than some value? I have no idea though this is just a ... stab in the dark. Oh god, did I just say that?
jcnicky3256 29.1.2015 klo 10.06
Great mod, rated it up, faved it.
Altbert  [tekijä] 29.1.2015 klo 7.58
@wolfman & revotan: that would be a good idea, but I will have to figure out how to handle using the ring in a dark cave during daytime, Also, what would be the effect when leaving the cave during daytime.
revotan 28.1.2015 klo 15.49
Would be nice if it was auto un-equiped during the day. Otherwise, this provides a huge service, thank you!
jcnicky3256 19.12.2014 klo 13.48
Got to try this, thanks.
wolfman 28.9.2014 klo 7.23
great mod. gone in to some caves and cleaned it out before they knew what hit them. the only problem is after using in a dungeon i keep forgeting to take it off before i leave. LOL rated fav'd and added
jinaen 21.8.2014 klo 11.46

Jo_Blow 22.4.2014 klo 2.04
great mod thankyou much for this ....works great with all DLC ..on steam ..keep up the good ideas pls tysm:)
Altbert  [tekijä] 2.1.2014 klo 3.24
Try using the prefix I use for form IDs: _amm: "help _amm". It should come up with the ID xx000D65 where "xx" is the load order number of the mod.
JackHerer 1.1.2014 klo 16.29
I cant seem to find the correct console id for this, and "help RingOfNightEye" doesnt work. Any thoughts?
ⒶMother_AnarchyⒶ 2.11.2013 klo 14.03

allright! To spawn the item into the game simply open the console and type

player.additem 4C000D65 1

you can replace the 1 at the end with any number to change the amount of rings it will give you

for example, if I type player.additem 4C000D65 7 it would give me seven rings of night eye
Keelojee 13.10.2013 klo 15.18
Thanks but I just typed in the console "help RingOfNightEye" or something like that I think,
and it said the id
Altbert  [tekijä] 13.10.2013 klo 13.15
The console id for the ring is xx000D65 where xx = the number of the mod in load order.
Keelojee 13.10.2013 klo 10.23
If I want to spawn the ring in via the console what would the ring's ID be? I seem to have lost the ring :(
ZodiacDragonStar 3.10.2013 klo 17.35
ok thanks i'll keep an eye out for any changes on this.
Altbert  [tekijä] 3.10.2013 klo 13.22
I think it could be done as I found the conditions that can be set for this purpose, but I still have to figure out how to set these conditions.
Altbert  [tekijä] 30.9.2013 klo 8.57
I don't know if that's possible, but I will look into it.
ZodiacDragonStar 29.9.2013 klo 11.41
curious, while i play a khajiit and usually have night eye set as my power, i might be interested in this. however i do have a idea to make it kinda better, that is to make it auto activate after 8pm or when in a cave or dark dungeon, and auto dispel when in daylight or other lighted areas, say like auto dispel at 6 or 8 am? is this doable?
kcaen 19.9.2013 klo 1.54
Great to have a Night Eye ring so early in the game. Great effect too - better than normal Night eye ability, spells or other rings. Just like walking in the day. Well done.
Arrow Albert 18.9.2013 klo 14.25
I can't get the creation kit to work but thanks anyway. (Maybe I can get it to work once I have more free time)
Altbert  [tekijä] 18.9.2013 klo 13.19
@Arrow Albert: I haven't considered making a spell version and I don't think I will. Simply have a look at my plugin in the Creation Kit and you know how to create your dragon eye ring!
Arrow Albert 18.9.2013 klo 12.52
The effect is great, in fact the best night I effect I have ever seen. The only problem is that I can't enchant anything with the effect. (It's a minor problem, I wanted to make my dragon eye ring to have this effect and the muffle effect.)
Arrow Albert 18.9.2013 klo 12.50
Have you considered making a spell version? you could make it so that it is sold by Drevis (The master illusion mage.)
Bacon Tentacles 8.9.2013 klo 18.54
Aww www, yisss. *subs*
Lucid_Raven 4.9.2013 klo 19.26
I found something with night eye enchantment once, but I'm taking this instead for the changes. The original bright blue hurts my eyes.
Altbert  [tekijä] 3.9.2013 klo 8.00
No, it doesn't! I have created a new magical effect and enchantment, based on the original night eye, but modified as described above, and as seen in every second picture.
Arrow Albert 2.9.2013 klo 15.25
Does this change the original night eye as well? (Just asking because the description says that when wearing the ring there will be no blur around the edges of the screen and the blueish color of night vision has been changed to more natural colors. The original sound effects of Night Eye have been removed.)
Altbert  [tekijä] 24.8.2013 klo 12.32
OK, found them! Base Ring gives 10 sec. of night vision. There's also the Ring of Nighteye (000937F6) with 20 sec. of night vision and the Grand Ring of Nighteye with 30 sec. of night vision (000937F7). My ring gives constant night vision and lasts as long as you are wearing the ring.
SBB66 24.8.2013 klo 6.15
The Base Ring of Nighteye in Oblivion is 000937F5.
SBB66 23.8.2013 klo 13.08
I always had a ring that gave me this ability. There are several of them under the 000937Fx ID range.
Altbert  [tekijä] 21.8.2013 klo 10.16
As far as I know night vision in Oblivion is mostly the same as in Skyrim, for Khajiit and Vampires (no Werewolves in Oblivion). The only comparible item in Oblivion I found was the helmet Fin Gleam, that also provides live detection and underwater breathing.
SBB66 21.8.2013 klo 9.02
This sounds like the Oblivion version of Night-Eye. Definitely something that has been missing from the game. Subscribing now.
