For those having issues with the werewolf perk tree, I ran the mod through TES5Edit and found a place under Actor Value Information in a section number 00000645 called AVHealRatePowerMod where it ends up setting all the werewolf perks back to vanilla Skyrim values - in other words, none. So when you open the tree it thinks the values are invalid and crashes. I removed that section from the ESP and it solved the problem, and doesn't seem to cause any additional problems, so if you want a bit of a hack to fix it, you might try that (backing the ESP up first, of course).

Great mod I am currently playing as swordsmen who doesn't like armor(so heavy). Anyways I love being able to take a hit while wearing chefs hats and such. Keep up the good work.

hey i like this mod but the problem is
whenever i use the warewolf perk tree it crashes and many people say that when u download this mod it crashes the tree so its not just me can u please look into it and get back to me when its good so i can re subscribe :)

Hey bud. I just want to alarm you I like your mod, but I had to unsubscribe it. It interferes with the werewolf tree is why by allowing the game to crash, which is something I can't afford to allow. I'll subscribe it again when this bug is fixed though, other than that no thank you.

dont get it if you want to get defence up you have to were normal clothes?
does mage clothes work?
what armor and clothes does work?
and can i use armored gauntlets and boots with it?
how about martial art mods and punching gauntlet mods?

I enjoy this mod although I fell like that actually using your unarmed strikes should help raise your alteration skill if you are using some of the spells to augment yourself and when you're unarmored and you get hit it should also raise the alteration skill otherwise progression up the alteration line feels kinda slow since i'm mostly punching people and not getting much experience out of that.

This mod is no longer being updated. Real life issues have prevented me from commiting any time to mods as of late. Feel free to make changes to the mod as you see fit. any reproduction i ask you only mention the original creator.

GOD... WHY DO I KEEP MAKING POSTS!? Do you think you'll make a compatibility patch for "Classic Classes and Birthsigns" (by Kearsage) It adds a monk class... And that alters the Unarmed combat and Unarmored defence... I was just wondering if you were willing to make a patch that sort of just... Either works with the system from that mod... Or removes unarmed/unarmored improvements and only has the perks/spells/etc.

Oh jeez. Another post from me. Knockback punch spell... That's all... Just give it a really high Magicka/Stamina cost and it'll be balanced :3

@White Tiger, Silly Tiger... You're wearing armor! You can't wear anything labeled as light/heavy armor... Just wear clothing, or robes...

i think that you can not do the companunes quist with this mod unless you use the ability to change your perks at the end of the dragonborn dlc to remove the unarmored spell you have on all the time

For some reason the unarmored effect does not appear for me, the additional damage for unarmed strikes does, but not unarmored?

Currently trying to push out another adventure for one of my mods. The werewolf issue is on the boards to get a resolution. Yes the oakflesh type spells overwrite unarmored by design i did not want them to stack, they dispel effects with matching keywords. The ranks are balance in a way that you should have an unarmored rating just slightly under the armor spell of matching skill level. So when cast you get a slight boots when compared. This way you have a constant armor rating without the spell, and a small jump in armor with the spell. I felt it was better to provide a small bonus by overwriting the effect then almost doubling it for the duration of the spell.

Hey WetWire, enjoying the mod so far. Just wondering about the Werewolf bug and if it's being worked on? It seems that alteration armor spells like Oakflesh do not stack with the trait that gives you armor for being well, unarmored.( I'm guessing the trait just casts a perma alteration armor spell and thats why) Just wondering how rank 3 of this trait would be compared to the alteration spell dragonskin.

what do you mean by 19th level? alteration skill 19? you would not have much unlocked and to really increase your unarmored bonus looks at what your alteration skill is and increases it accordingly.

But i've got problem - im fighting with two swords, but i'm unarmor. I'm not using magic. Problem - my physical adept tree does not works - i'm on the 19 level with this and it stops.... what i'm doing wrong?

Currently I can not find a way to have hand-to-hand add alteration skill. it is set to do so like any other weapon but does not work. It was built into the game to not give such experience.

You should make it so that you get EXP for alteration from fighting unarmed and taking hits unarmed, otherwise you just end up spamming your spells to level up alteration which is no fun because then you have to switch back tou your fists :(

Hate to be the bearer of another bug: if in werewolf form to access the werewolf skill tree, the game crashes. I've disabled mods to narrow it down to this one, unfortunately. I hope this helps. I really enjoy the mod!

it also stops you attacking in third person if the animation is interupted after you attempt casting so use it before a battle in third person

The problem with first person not attacking is the grab bound weapon animation. The way of the fist spell attempts to bound the weapon "fist". if you cast the spell and it fails to do the animation to grab a summoned weapon you will not be able to attack. Happens more often when moving.
Currently trying to find away around this bug.
Also made it where the unarmed bonus from the different levels of way of the fist do not stack.
I might have to make way of the fist a shout which i really want to avoid as that does not give exp in alteration.

I was eager to see how this mod stacked with "Way of the Monk," but I'm plagued by the "can't attack" bug also. Soraking007 seems to have figured it out, but I also have a feeling that it's connected with the attack animation. Just a shot in the dark.

What spells cause you to not attack?
I know ive run accross odd behavior when casting fortify unarmed damage mutiple times. Due to it being able to stack and having a duration, one will end while the effect is still running, which causes the character to revert to last known equiped weapon/spell because it mimics the summoned weapon spell.
This made it where i could not punch unless i switched equipment back to unarmed.
I started casting all "buffs" from the right hand and noticed i did not have any more issues.
Not sure why it does that yet.
