Should be a jump pack that activates a bigger, single jump or a double-jump that's much bigger than scout's double-jump. It runs on scrap, so the only way to refill it's juice is to find an ammo box, similar to the beggar's bazooka. I think that it could also be used to increase speed, and it has no blast radius, therefore, no knockback to you or to enemies, blah blah blah.

Just have it replace the primary or secondary slot.
Lets you fly as long as you hold the jump key.
Has a fuel/ammo meter which recharges while you're on the ground.

Just give him a double jump ability with this item, letting him get to areas easier or place things in new spots, but give it a cooldown to prevent it being used in combat.
