it just doesnt look right attached to the scout's body. its like a big black brick floating on his waist it needs like straps attached to his belt or something otherwise i really wouldnt waste a misc slot on it.

What about a backpack design with some sort of communication theme. Convert this into a backpack like a field radio operator would have. Just an idea and love the misc! Good job.

It could also be hung on the shoulder with a strap, but stay in the same position. And have a jigglebone for it. It may be complicated, but well worth the weight.

Instead of just sitting there, slapped to the scout's side, it'd probably look better strapped in by the hip or accross the chest messenger bag style replacing his gym bag.

The color of the pouch doesn't really match the scout's pants, it sticks out too much. I think the color should be a little bit lighter. Personally, I think the misc would look better if it were the pouch and a belt, but that's just me...
