No, sorry! I'm not working on this one at the moment. Too many mods and too much on my mind right now.
kitten666 Feb 25 @ 4:14pm
so we cant tame them yet?
ayahawkeye Jan 2 @ 6:24pm
Ok, so forget all that, I've read other comments and see that you're working on it. Scuse my hastiness!
ayahawkeye Jan 2 @ 6:15pm
I don't know what is going wrong, but all the horses are being marked as enemies (red dots on the compass) but not actually a aggressive and my followers are slaughtering them! I can't get them to stop! Help?!
P.S. hope you're recovering well from your car accident!
Altbert  [author] Nov 21, 2016 @ 2:16am
Thank you! I'm feeling much better now, being able to use both hands again.
ArchiteWarrior Nov 20, 2016 @ 3:12pm
Hi, this mod adds some great immersion to the game! Thanks for the upload, hope you are feeling better
Altbert  [author] May 23, 2016 @ 2:52pm
Thanks! Not life altering, but proper healing may take up to six months (still five months to go).
kleisshoeft May 23, 2016 @ 2:08pm
I am so sorry to hear that, I hope your injuries aren't life altering, heal well!
Altbert  [author] May 23, 2016 @ 11:37am
Thank you! I will keep this in mind, but it will have to wait for some time, being in a car accident recently and not able to use both hands for a couple of months.
kleisshoeft May 22, 2016 @ 2:46pm
You should add in a tameing mechanic where you can capture the horse and tame it. Along with that the player could also start a stables of his own and sell horses. Have a stable hand deal witht the sales while your off adventureing or purchasing straw or crafting horse shoes and tack.
Altbert  [author] Jan 12, 2016 @ 4:12am
Foals are already in the mod, to be more specific: colts and fillies.
Coconuts300 Jan 11, 2016 @ 8:21pm
Add foals too please
Altbert  [author] Dec 27, 2015 @ 10:08am
Simple answer: Yes!
Malian Dec 27, 2015 @ 8:09am
does it work with Dragonborn DLC?
Taolan Jun 1, 2015 @ 11:43pm
A simple way of 'taming' the animals could be accomplished by means of a spell effect. Give the wild horses a certain spell resistance so it doesn't work every time, and the actual effect of the spell replaces the horse with a 'tame' variant that will now follow you.

Not as a final version, obviously, but as a short-term fix.
Altbert  [author] May 19, 2015 @ 12:47am
Taming a horse is not possible in this mod (yet). There is another mod about taming wild animals. I haven't tried that one, but maybe it works.
Grimbold May 18, 2015 @ 11:56am
Oh, I love it! Horses, horses, horses... :)
senjox May 10, 2015 @ 1:03pm
how do i tame a horse?

onlyonebeu Mar 9, 2015 @ 5:13pm
I love haveing this mod, i have learned along the way that when i approach them and other beast are attacking them, I will kill the beast however my problem is with Lydia she assist in the attack for the beast but she doesnt stop she goes after the horses. I have a problem with that i don't want the horses harmed. Can you take a look at Lydia or all followers not to harm the horses. Please and thank you.
Historical Nov 9, 2014 @ 11:11am
Oh, well keep working on it! You'll get it some day. I actually found a way to do it. I have the stabling mod and when I ride the horse it follows me. I was in Riften and I go up to the stables and the horse now stays at the stables and is named by my characters name. I am thinking of adding the horse armours mod so I could add armour to it.

No, I'm sorry, but I haven't figured it out yet!
Historical Nov 8, 2014 @ 8:38pm
Can you tame horses now?
Altbert  [author] Jul 14, 2014 @ 4:03pm
You can't tame a horse yet! I am working on an update, but it will take some time.
dbQ Jul 14, 2014 @ 2:05pm
How does one tame a horse?
Faith the Mutt Lover Jul 4, 2014 @ 9:30am
this is cool but when i came near a herd my dog started attacking them.
αγCarman Dirda Jun 30, 2014 @ 11:35pm
I love the idea of wild horses in Skyrim. I have another mod downloaded but the horses keep glitching as agressive to followers. Hope to have better luck with this.

Good luck with progress!

Anyone wanting better textures, there are a handful of mods that alter all vanilla-textuered horses and they're very nice. I quite like Enhanced Horse Skins by Shogun.
Altbert  [author] May 31, 2014 @ 1:15am
All horses have vanilla textures.
Clever Crow May 30, 2014 @ 6:55pm
Do these have the vanilla textures, or new ones?
Doctor G Mar 16, 2014 @ 1:00pm
if you need leather and meat this mod is for you, the herd of horses is located close to the dog food factory
MeDiuM SQuiSH Feb 23, 2014 @ 3:38am
When I get on a Stallion or run after some other horses two become enemys and/or the entire herd but the one I'm riding. And please tell me where to find a Shadow horse
Rider Feb 14, 2014 @ 4:06am
When I get close to the horses, my followers attack and kill them. Anyway you can change them not to show as enemies?
quinn.flinders Feb 2, 2014 @ 12:43am
Also check your script, default is Wild state, when activated (player close enough to click or use keyboard) it changes to Tame. You can check Papyrus wiki or msg Slu11Monkey, he is a great scripter and takes the time to help others.
quinn.flinders Feb 2, 2014 @ 12:36am
I used Dawn's Posh Ponies for a long time. You could get on one and it became tame as if you got it from a stable. Might check with that one also to see how it was done. Also great mix of colors.
Altbert  [author] Jan 30, 2014 @ 8:05am
@CannonBallCurry: Thanks! I will have a closer look at this mod.
Altbert  [author] Jan 30, 2014 @ 7:52am
@gamer girl: Yes, some of the herds have foals, both colts and fillies!
g8torgirl Jan 29, 2014 @ 5:32pm
are there baby horses
CannonBallCurry Jan 29, 2014 @ 2:01pm
It is... it's on my sub let me get it for you
Altbert  [author] Jan 29, 2014 @ 1:03pm
@CannonBallCurry: Thank you! Hope his/her mod is here on Steam.
CannonBallCurry Jan 29, 2014 @ 12:54pm
Hey Albert, I was thinking why not look up the Leash and Tie horse mod.... maybe that person can help you with deciding how to tame the horse(s).

Altbert  [author] Jan 8, 2014 @ 1:25pm
I have been looking into the Bend Will and Kyne's Peace shouts, but I think they will not do. The first requires Dragonborn and the second somewhat puts an animal to sleep temporarily. The TO DO things are probably the hardest to create, also since there are 90 unique horses!
Mikayahu Jan 8, 2014 @ 1:12pm
Ok, I appreciate you taking the time to answer :)
Altbert  [author] Jan 8, 2014 @ 1:11pm
I really don't know! I haven't figured out how to do the taming.
Mikayahu Jan 8, 2014 @ 12:51pm
When is the next update for taming?
B/Ananas Dec 19, 2013 @ 1:23pm
THIS is a wonderful Mod! I really needed something like this!
Altbert  [author] Nov 14, 2013 @ 6:24am
Read the description above: taming is still on my TO DO list!
CannonBallCurry Oct 29, 2013 @ 11:35pm
question: would the tamed horse be like the one with the mod for a "leash and tie" where you can get the horse or get it to stay? or will the horse return to the herd once you dismount?
CannonBallCurry Oct 29, 2013 @ 11:34pm
will be nice to have a horse you can ride bareback... though if you get the horse armor mod you get epic dwarven armor on the horse at Markarth... lol makes you look ultimately lame in comparison...
