Can you make it have unlimited nodes, because later. While I was placing nodes in a house, and the house is in a huge map. It says this "You cannot place any additonal info nodes." Please do this. This addon will be better if you make the info limit unlimited.

ok so it seems this doesnt work because whenever you save it and load it up again it just rebuilds its self and all the nodes are gone

Silverlan,you can only fix the "Air nodes"? When after editing i typing "ai_show_connect_fly" shows,that these nodes connected coupled linear green

I found the solution. Anyone else who wants to delete an ain file that's packed into a bsp: download pakrat, find the ain file, delete it, and save BSP. It's that easy.

Anyone know how to delete a built in nodegraph? My AIN for RP_City8 is being overwritten constantly by its nodegraph.

I'm not sure why you would need a climb node anyway, just put a spawn node on top of the buildings or an air node above it... simple solution.

The only thing you can't do is add jump or climb nodes from what I'm reading. I haven't tried it personally so I can't vouch for anything beyond air and ground nodes which work just fine as long as they are networked properly.

You can also edit built-in nodes for maps that are hard-coded with nodes. It's very powerful and it works great... if you read the instructions!

It's IMPOSSIBLE to add jump node or something like that. Jump link only works when both nodes are build-in jump nodes and are in right positions while link hull in AIN is set to '02'.
Also Jump node makes itself a normal node in AIN node list and this relationship is stored by the order in the AIN node list. The last part of the AIN which is sad to be the Index List does not affect anything.
According to the current Nodegraph Editor's algorithm, deleting build-in node will also corrupt any build-in jump node after that node.
BTW I added an offset z bar to let the nodes 10~16 unit above the surface which works perfect in sloppy area.

For some reason, the last time I used this on dm_tech, it just didn't work. The nodegraph didn't appear, it was like I didn't do anything. It's kind of frustrating considering the amount of time I spent building the graph for this map.

It worked perfectly fine for other maps I modified the nodegraph of, such as dm_carousel or gm_ninfields, but I believe there is either something wrong with the tool or my game. Maybe the fucking nameless garbage that is steam cloud is erasing my custom .ain file and restoring the old one...

I'm clueless tbh...

Tested and works fine on Evocity_V2d and edits of Evocity. But Evocity_v33x is not compatible with nodegraph editor.

Extreme useful for NPC Spawn Creator
Edit node graph -->save file-->rename file and put into folder-->reload map
Now I can use one patrol point to order npc go through the whole map

any one know why some maps wont work when i use the nodegraph on them, a map i tried to node is keeps giving me this error in console

There's not. The amount of nodes is limited by the source engine.

ok i was just asking if you dont want to work on this addon im not telling you to all im saying is that i wanted to know if their was a way to increase max node's per map. I dident expect you to rispond i though some one else would tell me a way to have more nodes per map.

good work silverliam it's a very inserting concept for bulding a cene even improving show cases of npcs or snpcs dat navegate wit node graph and very useful in non/ bad/triqy nodded maps to not or do realy suprise results

Once you edit a map's nodegraph and you move it to graphs, do you have to delete the older .ain file?

Making a network of these nodes makes it easier for an npc to maneuver around the map instead of chasing a target on a linear path. This mod allows you to make your own node graph instead of doing it in the hammer map editor.

figured out the problem with the playermodel stuff. It turns my character into the Half Life 2 playermodel. I'll experiment with the addons that are conflicting for whatever reason.

Whenever I use this, it works. However. Viewmodels for my playermodel and the physgun do not appear. When I kill myself ingame, there is no corpse. I continually get errors for random addons that shouldn't conflict (ie fallout npcs and parakeets pill pack). As far as I know, this only happens on Age of Chivalry maps. I haven't tried it on any other maps at the moment.

@xXx_TURRET MAFi0SO_xXx. Striders will not walk with this. Getting Striders to walk would require using a map editer like Hammer to make the special air nodes that they need to walk around.

I can't say how to do it myself because I am only just starting to learn how Hammer even works, but even so that didn't stop me from learning how to make npcs jump.
