[G&K] American Civil War Civilizations Pack

Opis
This mod (requires Gods & Kings expansion) adds in two new civilizations: the American Confederacy, led by Jefferson Davis, and the American Union, led by Abraham Lincoln.

______________________________________________________________________________

The American Confederacy

Unique Ability: For the Bonnie Blue Flag

For the Bonnie Blue Flag gives all military units a +15% Combat Strength bonus. It also decreases Unhappiness from the number of Citizens by -25%.

Unique Units:

1) Grayback - Weaker than the Rifleman it replaces (30 Combat Strength instead of the usual 32), but it's cheaper to produce. For the Bonnie Blue Flag still renders the Grayback stronger than the Rifleman, however.
2) Slave - Constructs Improvements 50% faster than the Worker it replaces and is slightly cheaper to produce. However, each Slave adds +1 Unhappiness to the empire.
______________________________________________________________________________

The American Union

Unique Ability: March to the Sea

March to the Sea triples the amount of Gold received from Barbarian encampments and pillaging Cities and doubles the rate at which this Civilization razes Cities.

Unique Building:

1) Assembly Line - Replaces the Factory. It adds +6 Production instead of +4 and boosts Production by +15% instead of the normal +10%. The +6 Production is changed to +12 after researching Replaceable Parts. After one is made in three different Cities, the American Union may select their Ideology.

Unique Unit:

1) Monitor Ironclad - Replaces the Ironclad. Instead of the usual 45 Combat Strength, the Monitor has 55, making it able to stand against the Destroyer, the unit it upgrades to.
______________________________________________________________________________

I'm not sure about the balancing of these two Civilizations nor some of its content (like the March to the Sea ability - it was moreover William Sherman's thing), so if anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to them.

List of things I have to fix, but don't know how:

- Balancing
- Music for the Civilizations (I tried to add some in, but it failed - any modders that know how to fix this can see some more details in the Civilization XMLs)
- Dawn of Man text (loading screen describing the chosen Civ; I hardly put anything, really)
- Icons (only thing that really has to be fixed is when the alerts for when, say, either one of these Civilizations builds a World Wonder - the icon denoting their Civilizations fails to show up and is replaced by a black icon)
- Civilopedia entries

@fib3604 It wouldn't be too hard to make a Vanilla version of the mod, so I suppose I might do it within a day or two if I feel like it. Then again, my own interest in this mod, and that of the community, has diminished since its first release, so I'm not certain about that.

will you make a vanilla version of this mod?

Good for you. (Uprated.)

@JEELEN Thanks for your opinion on the mod, it's nice to see some interest in it.

As for your question, so long as there's a decent amount of demand on the mod and I can find ways to improve it, I don't see why I'd stop development on this.

Well, I only play on YnAMP maps, but I'm guessing your duo civ doesn't have TSL support. I like the idea though. Wiil you keep working on this?

@JEELEN I'm not sure what you meant by mod support, nor if that comment was meant well or ill, but if you meant multiplayer mod support, the mod should work fine in multiplayer if it's used with JdH's CiV Multiplayer Mod Manager, as do most XML-only mods.

I'm guessing no mod support is available. Otherwise, nice try. ;)
