Descrizione
The Elder Scrolls Places is a mini-series of Lore Friendly mods, each adding locations seen in Skyrim in The Elder Scrolls Chapter I: Arena (set in 3E 399), into the modern day (4E 200) Skyrim setting over 200 years later.

Amber Guard was a small village in the Reach that has fallen to ruin over the last two centuries since the events of Arena. The ruins of the village are home to a band of dangerous bandits raiding the roads of Whiterun Hold since the increased Forsworn activity has driven them from The Reach.

---------
Features

- The remnants of the village of Amber Guard (from Elder Scrolls Chapter I: Arena).

- Lore friendly and consistent with the style and themes of the rest of the game.

- Amber Guard is fully integrated into Radiant Quests (such as Bounties, Lost Items, Rescue Captives etc).
---------

---------
Notes

- Recommendation: Rather than seeking out this location, wait until it is used by the Radiant Quest system for bounties and other quests. This mod is at it's best when integrated fully into the normal process of play.

- Bounties and Radiant Quests that make use of Amber Guard are based in Whiterun Hold, due to the villages accessibilty by road and the bandits activity in around the Whiterun tundra.

- The location of Amber Guard has been adjusted, as the layout of The Reach in Skyrim is vastly different to that of Arena (Markarth's location has moved far to the south, roughly where Amber Guard was once situated)

- Compatible with Hearthfire and Dawnguard. No Prerequisites.

Troubleshooting

"Conflicts", CTDs or missing objects
- If crashes or failure to load assets/areas repeatedly occur, it is usually caused by one of two things:

a) Skyrim's limited memory allocation for the use of .esp (mod) files means using a lot of mods (especially large ones) will eventually cause the game to run out of memory and cause issues during gameplay. The solution is simply to use less mods.

b) The .bsa is conflicting with another archive from a mod using the same scripts/assets or otherwise failing to access it's data will cause the game to CTD in the front end menus. Try changing the load order first as the issue can sometimes cause "incompatibilities" between mods that would otherwise work together. If it still won't work, then disable other mods one at a time until it does.

That is dedication. I guess Bethesda forgot about those locations being mentioned in Elder Scrolls I: Arena or never got to it. Out of curiosity, what places mentioned/shown in Elder Scrolls I: Arena made it into Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?

Dude I'm not gonna lie, found this series and downloaded like 7 mods right off the bat... I'll discover the content organically. Just means I won't run out of stuff to do as fast :steamhappy:

Will you be updating your mods for Special Edition and putting them up on Bethesda.net or Nexus anytime soon? All your work is amazing and I can't imagine going through Skyrim SE without your stuff.
