I only advise this if you have spent a lot of hours trying to get space ponies and have been very unsuccessful... but the absolute easiest way to get Space Ponies is to create a map, go in to the files in Documents/My Games/Ironclad Games/Map Designer and open the map you made, with notepad, and copy this code into the right spot/just below the randomizeStartingPositions line.
The key lines of code you need to look at are shown below.
planetArtifactDensity 0.1000
planetBonusDensity 100.00000
areExtraPlanetsColonized TRUE
Make sure to copy paste extra planets colonized for higher chance to get this achievement first try.
If you need all the artifacts for the achievement you can re do the same process but changing the planetArtifactDensity in the code from 0.1000 -> 1.0
But where can I change the AI difficulty?
- Don't use in-game editor or Galaxy Forge. Go to ../Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion/Galaxy. Pick any map you like (I picked Tempest.galaxy);
- Create back up, just in case;
- Next, open Tempest.galaxy with Notepad/Notepad++;
- Change line "planetArtifactDensity 0.150000" to "planetArtifactDensity 0.990000";
- This way every planet would have a guarantied artifact. Now the only thing you need is enough planets to roll all 12 of them. I did it on Tempest first try, you can use bigger map if you want.
Good luck! :)
