Arms Deal Collection Contract Guide

Quick guide detailing what the Arms Deal Contract is, how to use it, and what items can currently be exchanged. There also seems to be some confusion about, Stattrak weapons, knives, and the difference between quality and exterior which I'll try to clear up.

9/19/13 UPDATE

As of September 19th, the Arms Deal Collection Contract has been changed to the Trade Up Contract. ALL WEAPON COLLECTIONS are now eligible for exchange.

What is it?

The Arms Deal Contract was added in the 9/12/2013 update for CS:GO. You'll find it in your inventory when you start the game.

This contract allows you to trade in 10 weapons of identical quality from the Arms Deal Collection (Case Series #1), and exchange them for 1 Arms Deal weapon of the next highest quality.

Weapons from the eSports 2013 case and any weapons that come from random drops currently cannot be exchanged.

Please note the difference between Quality and Exterior. Quality is basically rarity, and is represented by the text color of each weapon. From lowest quality to highest quality:

• White - Consumer grade
  
• Light blue - Industrial grade
  
• Dark blue - Mil-spec
  
• Purple - Restricted
  
• Pink - Classified
  
• Red - Covert
  
• Exceedingly Rare ★

Exterior is the condition of the paint job. The exterior of the gun doesn't matter when using contracts, and the weapon you get in exchange will have a random exterior. The exteriors from worst to best:

• Battle-Scarred
  
• Well-Worn
  
• Field-Tested
  
• Minimal Wear
  
• Factory New

Using The Contract

Find the contract in your inventory, right click on it, and click open contract.







A list of eligible items will be displayed. Select 10 items of the same quality and click on proceed.



Don't forget to sign your name!



When you click "Submit Contract" the 10 weapons will be permenantly removed from your inventory, and you will get one item of one quality tier higher in exchange. It's unlimited use, so you can exchange as many guns as you want.

Eligible Items

The only weapons eligible for exchange so far are the weapons that come from the CS:GO Weapons Case Series #1.



Any combination of 10 Mil-Spec (Blue) weapons:

• MP7 | Skulls
  
• AUG | Wings
  
• SG 553 | Ultraviolet

Will result in one of these Restricted (Purple) weapons:

• Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo
  
• USP-S | Dark Water
  
• M4A1-S | Dark Water

Exchanging 10 Restricted quality weapons will result in one of these Classified (Pink) weapons:

• AK-47 | Case Hardened
  
• Desert Eagle | Hypnotic

Exchanging 10 Classified quality weapons will result in an Covert (Red) weapon:

• AWP | Lightning Strike

Covert quality items are not eligible for exchange and cannot be exchanged for knives. Exteriors (Battle Scarred, Factory New, etc.) don't matter and the exterior on the gun you recieve is random.

Stattrak weapons aren't eligible for exchange, so exchanging 10 Stattrak weapons for a rarer Stattrak weapon is not possible. Also, at the moment, it doesn't appear possible to recieve a Stattrak weapon from exchanging any weapons.

What about exteriors in trade up contracts? How does it determine the exterior of the item you get? If i was to put 10 battle scarred awp pink ddpats in a trade up contract, do i get a 1/5 chance to get any of the exteriors or am i guaranteed to get a battle scarred master piece?

IP Gardol, I can't quote your comment, but if you see this, then I think that your AK-47 Case Hardened Fac New would have to be in the same weapons group as the glocks. So, say, the Lake Collection of weapons. If they were both in there, it's a possibility. So yeah.

exterior is not clearly random, for example when u craft items from The Nuke Collection you won't be able to get Factory New exterior after 10 crafts or more

The exterior of the gun you recieve is totally random ? So you can get a Battle-scarred that worth nothing by using 10 weapons that worth more all together ?
