Description
Here's my map for the first "Old School Level Design Contest" at the Wall Worm forums, fy_delaunay_world. Its a little fight yard map made for CSGO where I really tried to work with the criteria set by the contest. The criteria being that it's only made with world geometry (brushes), and made in 3DS Max. It was a tough journey to not reach Source's limits, got it compiled with 99% on the max planes limit. It is almost done so I'd like to let people test and give some feedback before the final compile. Hope you enjoy the style!

Known Problems:
Playing with bots may lag the game, especially if it's all bots.

Re-render skybox with new clouds.

Hi, urhm. Cool map. But you have bad structure on the trees. The shape of them does not fit stright grids, and so many of them! This is why the fps is a bit low. But nice map.

The more pixels you have the sharper something will look, I wanted it really sharp so they're all almost at the limit of how big they can be I think. In the description theres a link to a "Making of" thread I made, explains some constrains I had. Basically I couldn't make the map any bigger, it was going to be maybe 4 times larger, but source kinda sucks and even thought I didn't hit the brush limit theres another limit on how many different angles the brushes can have crazy as that sounds... This is why I couldn't waste any brushes on the skybox.

Hm i thought because of the simplicity of cartoonish textures the size would be lower then normal ones but ok. The skybox is good but wouldn't it be much more simple to make a 3d skybox with that? 80mb for such a simple skybox seems like a waste, also could you explain why this map is so laggy? much appreciated

Bsp is not very space efficient to begin with, but in this case the textures are large to keep the cartoony style crisp. Also the skybox textures alone take up 80mb, which is normal if you don't want it looking blurry. None of this is a fault of Wall Worm.

This map is very little, why is big (150mb) ? Shouldn't be a map with only brushes be very little? Is it Wall Worms fault that the map is so big? Please enlighten me
