Russian Principalities

Description
This small mod aims to improve historical accuracy and player experience in the Russian area of the map.
The mod includes new realms, changes to the de jure setup in the area, and new titles for the Russian nobility.

If you are using this mod: this is my first mod, so it's very likely there are, at the very least, some errors. If you find anything wrong, please, do inform me about it.

Landed Titles Included:
Kingdom of Novgorod (can annex some of the Finno-Ugric duchies to the north)
Kingdom of Vladimir (can become Muscovy)
Kingdom of Mucovy (see above)
Kingdom of Smolensk
Kingdom of Polotsk
Kingdom of Chernigov
Kingdom of Ryazan (can seperate from Chernigov)
Kingdom of Kiev
Kingdom of Galich-Volhyn (can seperate from kiev)
Duchy of Tmutarakan
(Most of them have rulers at the 1066 start date and further)

Other Changes:
Russian barons are called boyars, and rule over citadels.
Russian counts are called grand boyars, and rule over grand citadels. (yes, I know, very creative)
Russian dukes are called princes, and rule over principalities.
Russian kings are called grand princes, and rule over grand principalities.
Removed the kingdoms of Rus and Ruthenia.
Most of the Russian counties are feudal from 1066 onwards.

Blackwing_Raven - Tsar is a title used to designate certain Slavic monarchs or supreme rulers. The term is derived from the Latin word Caesar, which was intended to mean "Emperor" in the European medieval sense of the term—a ruler with the same rank as a Roman emperor, holding it by the approval of another emperor or a supreme ecclesiastical official (the Pope or the Ecumenical Patriarch)—but was usually considered by western Europeans to be equivalent to king, or to be somewhat in between a royal and imperial rank.
Due to the time frame of the game the term Tsar is used to describe the Russian equivelant to the Holy Roman or Byzantine Emperor, rather than the more modern concept of European emperors and Russian Imperators. For the same reason the king titles were designated as "grand prince" (velikiy knyaz). Also, "Russian dukes are called princes" is already in the description.
Hope this makes things clear. Hope you enjoy using the mod and have a nice day.

Well, did't know about duke title being knyaz, you should put it in the description. About tsars - despite the origin of the word, it is equivelent of king, russian emperors were called emperors. Tsardom of Russia and Russian Empire are two separate periods in russian history

Blackwing_Raven - Tsar (from the latin Caesar) is the Russian equivelent to Emperor, and have been traditionally given to the ruler of all of Russia. Knyaz, or prince (or duke, depending on the interpretation), is already the title of Russian dukes.
Peacemaker - Ruth, or Ruthenia, is the latin name for the Rus (Русь) people. While it is indeed referred to in western culture as Ruthenia from the 11th century forward, the inhabitants retained the Rus name. Fun fact: the Greek form of the name passed to the modern country, Russia.

You made a big mistake. These lands were called Ruthenia (Ruth) not Russia(rus). Then there was no Russia, but there was Kieven Ruth.

I think russian kings should be called tsars and duke level title should be "knyaz"

lemuria - Unfortunately, I don't know the history of medieval Spain and Portugal nor map modding well enough to complete such a task. If you are interested in more flavor in Iberia there are great mods like Hispanic Monarchy (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/id=366325924) here on the workshop (I might do one mainly for Aragon in the near future. no promise though). If you specifically want more counties, I think ck2+ does it (not only in Iberia). Hope this helps somehow.
Gondo - Russian counts should have their own names, however, no russian equivalent existed in the middle ages. Naming them Grand Boyars is an option, but i'd like to do a bit more research before deciding on that. other suggestions are always welcome.
