Description
Part 2 out now: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=912519203

In this multi-part scenario you are in charge of a overhauled S15 on a special train traveling to Portsmouth. You will start at Woking then following a DMU to Guildford. This is followed by a clear run up the hills towards Haslemere for a booked stop. Remember to be vigilant as the S15 is not equipped with a AWS.

Difficulty: Easy-Medium
Duration 30-40min

DLC:
Portsmouth Direct Line
South West Trains Class 444
Class 455 EMU
Southern Railway S15 Class Steam Loco Add On
"Note" The European and US loco asset packs are both included with the Portsmouth Direct Line add-on.

Feel free to rate, comment or let me know if there's any glitches or bugs I may have missed. Also if it feels like there's something missing or not quite right feel free to mention it. Hope you enjoy.

"Note" I do apologize in advance if I have gotten the mounted discs on the front wrong. I'm not greatly familiar with Southern Railway practise and the manual does not show their postions or their meaning. Also the DLC required will remain constant through out the series to prevent any bad surprises.

Depending on how well the series is recieved I'll look at remaking the series on the improved version of the Portsmouth Direct Line done by DPS but this won't be done for several months. Changes would be made such as adding a timetable, changes to Ai traffic if needed and speed limit.

Thanks Chris. I've noticed some Pro locos seem to have the dampers either off or on by default but a quick check never hurts :)

Made the same mistake as ash the first time around and ran out of steam on the climb due to the Dampers being closed! Tried again and this time with them open made it to Haslemere. This was a very nice and challenging scenario.

No worries. I've noticed that the Pro loco's seem to take more effort to get the high performance but worth in the long run.

I've rerun it again, made sure the dampers were on, arrived in Haslemere at 16:10:17, but think I could improve on that. Good scenario, thanks for sharing.

Glad you liked it. Did you have the dampers open or closed during you're run? If their closed you lose steam pressure quickly in the S15 and the climb to Haslemere becomes difficult.

Nice scenario, well done. Completed, but had to stop on the 1-80 up to Haslemere to build up steam. Gonna give it another whirl to try to complete without running short of steam. Enjoyed the run, thanks for sharing.
