Description
Mod updated for G&K. It should not work with Vanilla game.

Kingdom of Meroe - Reign of the Black Pharaohs.

From the original Modinfo file:
Leader: Candace Amanishakheto.
Trait: Military buildings of the Ancient Era and Classical Era give slaves.
UU: Ta'Sety (replaces Archer) +1 RANGE STRENGTH +1 Move (Free Promo: Sentry).
UB: Hafir (replaces Watermill) +10% FOOD in the city (requires freshwater), +1 GOLD on yield exploiting Ivory and Gold.
"Special Unit" added for Traits Leader: Slave (unbuildable).
Civilopedia fully completed.
2D Leader Scene.
Added unit flag for Ta'sety, and Slave.

Ethnic Units credits: JTitan.


Note: the Slave unit is a Great Person unit (similar to a Great Engineer). Once it appears, click on the Building Button on the right screen to open the City Building screen, then move the Great Person Slave on the City Tile. Next turn,
the Slave can be sacrificed, and whatever is being built will take less turns in consequence.


Fixes:
- No more crash when an AI Opponent is set as Nubians.
- 2D Leader Screen shows up.
- Files were renamed for better compatibility with other mods (especially those files set to VFS in Modbuddy).
- Complete integration to G&K.
- Text partly rewritten.


To do:
- Add more flavor to the Civ.

Recent Fixes:
- Units and Buildings have stats/yields/rate similar to G&K.
- Text modified to reflect the new changes to Units and Buildings.
- Added 2 Ethnic Units (work in progress).

Most Recent Fix:
- Warriors can now upgrade to Swordsmen.

From his Modinfo file:
Permits up to 6 unique units/buildings/improvements per civilization.

Four screens are affected if a civilization can have nore than two unique bonuses
- Game Setup Screen
- Select Civilization Menu
- Game Loading Screen
- Civilopedia

The base Civilopedia code already handles more than two unique bonuses, and the other three screens will still work, just not display any more than two.

The Game Loading screen can be updated via a mod (eg this one), whereas the other two screens can only be changed by copying the four related files (two xml and two lua) and the UniqueBonuses.lua file over the base files.

Important Note: For the Game Loading screen to show the extra bonus icons the mod must be enabled before the main program is started - ie, downloading the mod, installing the mod, enabling the mod, and then starting a new game will not
show the extra icons. They will not show until CivV is exited and restarted. (This is due to the way CivV caches xml/lua files and not a bug in the mod.)

This mod doesn't work with BNW, I plan on updating it between "soon" and the summer.

Last I checked, it crashes with BNW when this civ is used as AI. Please update.

Crashes whenever I use this civ as AI.

I have a bug to report. I was using this along side with other mods including the ARchadia civ and the Goth civ for G&K. I have came across an errror where my military advisor (playing as Archadia) recommended building the Nubian version of the Barracks. Can you check to make sure that it does not overwrite the original versions?

Great mod which I've been using regularly for quite a while now. Since then I loaded the Reseed mod a few weeks back but only after great difficulty and now only noticed yesterday that the Nubian race, though still activated, no longer appears in the game. After much reloading and resubscribing (similar to what I had to do to get the reseed mod working) I eventually got my Nubians back but now find my Reseed mod again no longer appears instead. I'm beginning to think that only one of these two mods can ever be used at a time.
