Tranzit
Tranzit is a map the community doesn't like that much. This is mainly because of the bus mechanic, the fog and denizens. Tranzit did however add new features to zombies like buildables, the bank and the fridge. The map also features a new crew and the zombies are in control of Richtofen.
Denizens
Denizens scratch your face and blurr your sight, they can kill you. They spawn behind you and they will gain on you and climb on your head. While they are on your head you can only kill them using melee weapons, but when they are not on your head you can kill them with any weapon. They will continuously spawn. Denizens only spawn in the fog and mist locations, and they don't give you points for being killed, nor do they drop power-ups on death. They run away when you enter an area without fog. They also are affected by insta-kill.

Portals
If a player with a Denizen latched onto their head runs under a green street light, the Denizen will jump off the player, and create a portal under it. The player can then jump through the portal and will be teleported to an other street lamp (a green one).
Avogadro
The Avogadro is an 'electric zombie'. It spawns when power is turned on making lighting. Where the lightning is, the avogadro will spawn next round. It can only be killed with mele weapons or EMP Grenades. To kill it, the Avogadro has to be in human form.
The Fridge and the Bank
The fridge and the bank are features in Tranzit, Die Rise and buried. They work through the three maps (They're all connected to each other).

Fridge
The fridge is a weapon locker: You can put weapons in them and retrieve them whenever (Any Game, Any map that features the fridge). You can only put one weapon in. You can't put in any wonder weapons and the starting weapon. If you put in a map-exclusive weapon and retrieve said weapon in an other map, you will get a similar weapon. Example: Put in the RPD in Tranzit, and it will be a LSAT in Buried. In Tranzit the Fridge is found at the mansion at farm.

Bank
In the bank you can store money, 1000 Points per usage up to 250,000 Points. Retrieving money costs 100 Points: You give 100 Points and get 1000 Points back, so for every 1000 Points you put in you only get 900 Points back. This is a 10% Loss. The Bank is located at Town in the vault, which can be opened by Grenades.
NAV Card Table
The NAV table is a buildable. It links the buried, die rise and tranzit easter eggs together and it is required for the endgame in buried. The parts to make it only appear on Original difficulty. The table must be usually built only one time; once it has been built, it is saved onto the player's profile. If a player hasn't been in a game where the table was built, the players must build it again.

The NAV table is built under the Pylon between Farm and Power Plant.

- Meteorite
In the hole in the wall at Bus Depot, next to Mystery Box spawn.
- Wooden plank
In the Tunnel between Bus Depot and Diner or in the Power Station on a platform beneath the Buildable Bench by Tombstone.
- Radio
In the garage by Diner (in the room with the car) on top of a shelf. It must be picked up while jumping. It can also be found in Nacht der Untoten.
- Electric Box
In Town between the dumpster and Mystery Box spawn, or in Farm, inside the house next to Fridge, or behind the Bus Depot.

TranZit's Navcard fits in Die Rise's NAV Table
Buried's Navcard fits in TranZit's NAV Table
Locations
The map has five main locations (Locations where the Bus stops)
- Bus Depot (Where you spawn)
Has a location for a bus part.
- Diner (Where the box first spawns)
Has a location for a bus part.
- Farm
Has the Fridge and a location for a bus part.
- Power Plant (Where you build the power switch)
- Town
At town there only are two perks, and no wall weapons. It's the most open area. It also has the Bank. Has a location for a bus part.

The map has four minor locations (Ths Bus doesn't stop here)
- Tunnel (The Bus rides through here, on the route from Bus Depot to Diner)
Has a wall weapon.
- Nacht Der Untoten (In the Corn fields opposite to the pylon)
First Zomibe Map ever.
- Pylon (In the Corn fields on the route from Farm to Power Plant)
NAV Card Table Location and Easter Egg stuff
- The Cabin (On the route from Power Plant to Town)
Bowie Knife Location
Persistent Upgrades
New persistent effects, called "Perma-Perks" by the community, are a new feature in TranZit, Die Rise and Buried. Not all effects have been discovered and there is not an exact explanation on how to get them. When the player obtains an upgrade, a green flash will appear on the screen, and the character will comment about it. When a player loses an upgrade, the game will play a sound.

Learn more about perma perks here[callofduty.wikia.com].
Bus (Utility)
The bus allows players to travel through the map. It always spawns in front of the bus depot (Spawn). All the windows on the bus are barriers, which can be rebuilt. Zombies climb through them. When there is a player on the bus and the bus is driving zombies will chase it. The Bus is upgradeable: You can add a plow to block zombies coming in through the front, a ladder to climb on the roof and a hatch to climb on the roof from the inside of the bus. Note that the hatch can also be placed at the diner to reach galva knuckles, this location is preferred by most players since there only is one hatch. On the bus is a B23R wallbuy too (1000 points). The Bus is controlled by the Bus Driver. The bus will not move from spawn until boarded. The bus driver will honk when arriving/leaving a location. The departure is timer-based, not round-based. Once the bus is in motion, zombies will not be able to enter through the Bus doors. While on the bus the player will not be attacked by denizens, at the sacrifice of limited maneuverability while inside of it and the many entrance ways for the zombies. The bus can be turned off by the avogadro and EMP Grenades.

There are four part locations for the bus upgrades, and three parts. This means that there will always be one empty room. The parts can spawn in every location.
Bus Parts:
- Bus Depot: In the room next to the spawn room.
- Diner: In the shed.
- Farm: In the shed.
- Town: In the "Rare Books" store.
Buildables
Tranzit has the most buildables of all maps.

Turbine (Powers doors, perks, builables and is used to open Pack-a-Punch)
- All parts are in the starting area.

Zombie Shield (A life saver)
- Car door is in the garage of the gas station, or in the room to the right of the workerbench.
- Handtruck is found inside the diner behind the counter on either side and another location.

Turret (Kills players more than zombies, needs turbine power)
- Lawn mower can be found directly to the left of the back door or left of the barrier to straight from the back door of the house or on the ground floor in the barn.
- RPD can spawn on a couch upstairs in the house, on some barrels near Double Tap, or on the balcony by the mystery box location.
- Ammo pouch can be found on the table downstairs.

Power Switch (Used to turn on power, summons avogadro)
- Hand will spawn at the top of either staircase, or to the far right of the second staircase.
- Switch lever spawns on the ground next to the boxes on the right before going down the first staircase, or on the console benches near the workbench.
- Switch panel spawns on the left at the end of the hall leading into the largest room, next to either set of boxes in between the stair sets, or near the workbench.

Electric Trap (Used for glitches, requires turbine power)
- Parts are in the power station in the tombstone area and below.

Jet Gun (See jetgun part in the guide)

Pack-a-Punch Machine (See PaP part in the guide)

Bus (See Bus part in the guide)
Pack-a-Punch
The Pack-a-Punch machine is located in a small 'L' shaped room under the bank in Town. To access it, the player must open three doors: the first two are opened by simply blowing them up with an explosive (frag grenades are the easiest choice). The third needs power to open; a Turbine has to be placed next to the door in the Power Plant with a lightning symbol on it. As long as the Turbine is powering the door, the door in the bank will be open and the hallway with the Pack-a-Punch machine accessible. The door only closes when there are no players inside. The Pack-a-Punch is a buildable aswell and all the parts are located in the 'L' shaped room.
Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23
This is the wonderweapon, which is a buildable. It is also referred to as the Jetgun. It sucks zombies in from the front and they then get slaughtered by its rotors. It can also kill zombies behind the player. The bad part about this wonderweapon is that it can brake. It takes a while to gather all parts to build it and it then brakes pretty easily. It is awful. However, when the Jet Gun is held out and not fired, the pointer will slowly move back towards the left, allowing it to be used more. Once the weapon breaks the player gets a little damaged and the parts spread out on the floor. You can rebuild it, but if a part falls in the lava it will be returned to the spot it was originally found. The Jetgun is an equipable which means it doesn't take up a weapon slot. It can't be pack-a-punched and it won't award the player points. It does count kills.

-Jet Engine (Found in the Tunnel)
-Near the first window on the left.
-Beside a car near the railing of the Colt M16A1.
-Between the first window on the right and Colt M16A1.

Tower of Babble (Main Easter Egg)
Tower of Babble is the main easter egg from Tranzit and is a pretty easy easter egg when you work together and have a lot of luck with the mistery box *lenny*. It can not be completed solo, you need a minimum of two players, on of which is Samuel. Difficulty must be Original. As usual the easter egg relates to the storyline. There are two different sides to this easter egg and you can't complete the same side twice in a row. The Pylon is located in the corn field.

- Turn on the power.

Dr. Maxis' Path
- At least two players must have a turbine.
- Turn off the power when Maxis has finished his speech.
- Someone must aqcuire EMP grenades (OPTIONAL)
- Place the turbines under the pylon and kill the Avogadro underneath it.
- Four players must place their Turbines at the same time: Two under the Pylon and the other two at the green street lamp (The achievement should unlock)

Richtofen' s Path
- Build the Jetgun
- Shoot at the pylon with the Jetgun until it breaks
- Kill zombies with explosives (Ray Gun too, Not MK II though) under the pylon.
- At least two players must have EMP Grenades
- Throw four EMP grenades at different green street lamps. (The achievement should unlock)
You can do this with 2-4 players. If you don't have four players one or two players must throw an EMP grenade, jump through a portal and throw an other one. You have around a 5 second window.
Trivia
- The letters on the diner sign say "North Highway Diner", but only six letters light up, making it say "Now Die". Underneath this sign should read "OPEN 24 HOURS" but instead reads "ON 4 U" as only these four characters are lit.
- There are many posters in the spawn area, one of which shows the electric tower (needed for the easter egg) with the words POWER! under it. This poster can also be seen in the campaign and multiplayer. There is also a "Nuke Donkey" poster, and a "Ride The Bus" poster.
- If a player goes down they will be able to be revived by another player, regardless of distance, as long as they are both on the bus.

Great guide for easily my favorite zombies map! It was so much fun figuring this stuff out on my own back in the day :) Why no other map (or game really) has tried to add a bus you can ride and upgrade through the map always surprises me. It must be hard to program/code but I'm thankful for Tranzit and still play it this day

Me and one of my buddies ran this hole thing back on 360. It all started when I missed the bus and just ran the fog.. Not most of the time I run it, Kill all but a few dead like 5 or so and run the fog on the first round and get power on asap. Then portals, We have gotten to like round 85 to 90 before we'd go down. But power was on with energy guy trapped, We just needed like two more peeps to get things going faster.
