GARMR 86: Raiding Frigate (6.0+ READY!)

Description
ROOM TO BREATHE: V1.5
- Updated GARMR 86 to Empyrion v6.0+ standards
- Oxygen ventilators have been added throughout
- Numerous sensors/switches have been configured to control various functions
- Cargo hangars have been completely overhauled: 12,096 mobile cargo slots!
- Check out the companion GARMR 86: Cargo Unit!
- Don't forget about the new GARMR 86: Harbrok Gunship!
- New Mining Control bridge; 2 mining lasers added
- Many hours worth of additional detailing and reforming of hull bits
- Signage throughout is much better than it was previously
- Unfortunately, this ship is now a size class 11. Mind you, it started as a 4, so don't blame me. A week ago, it was as high as a 15! (Eleon is currently tweaking class sizes)

DESCRIPTION
A cargo frigate outfitted for base raiding. Its heavily armored forward cargo hangars will store all the loot of your plunderings, while the T-25 Warp Drive System guarantees that your a$$ will be on its way home before the calvary arrives!

Built with maneuverability, stealth, and focused-weaponry in mind, GARMR 86 functions quite well as a hit-and-run gunship, rather than a full-on destroyer. Heavily armored throughout, but it's best to not chip the paint.

GARMR 86 is more than capable of withstanding the harsh realities of PvP. There are more than enough backup systems and thick combat armor walls to keep this ship going for quite some time. Fuel consumption isn't generally an issue given its size, and handles respectively in the atmosphere. The entire layout is streamlined, managing to weigh only 42.2kt, while the handling still complimentary of her mission.

NOTES FROM THE ARCHITECT TO THE NEXT CAPTAIN
The newly-overhauled cargo bays can technically hold 48 cargo units, effectively doubling the added mobile cargo slots to 24,192. However, having this many ships docked to a CV at once can cause MASSIVE FPS issues. Even with all 24 docked, you will sometimes experience these issues when rotating off-axis (especially in space, for whatever reason). This is the reasoning behind simply scattering a couple small/large cargo boxes under the docking shelves.

One switch allows for hover thrusters only (good for fuel saving on planets when not on a landing pad), and the other switch simply turns the gravity gen power on and off. The hover mode is basically useless because it doesn't actually save you that much fuel, but the gravity is nice so that if you're parked next to another source of artifical gravity (like another CV or base), you don't have too much gravity pulling on your character.

@Patchouli: Sorry, but I don't understand what you're saying. Are you trying to say the Hover and Gravity switches don't work? Because they do.

you missed to make HOVER switch and GRAVITY!

It's a possibility, although at the moment my PC is down for servicing. Might be a bit before I get to it, but I would like to keep this ship maintained and up-to-date.

Any plans to update this for 7.5?

Cool! Thanks for the compliments, and I'm glad you're using the cargo and fighter SVs as well :)

The LCD bit is actually quite easy, just head to this link [www.wingamestore.com], which has a huge collection of symbols that are ready to be copy/pasted in-game. I think you can copy ASCII characters from other sources as well, though they might look a little funky on the LCDs.

I am in awe of the creative and useful features of this blueprint. Your use of LCD screens to add useful directions and function are great. I would love to know how you got the Arrows, I imagine it's an ASCII code of some sort. I am also using the cargo SV and the fighter SV daily. Awesome Ships. Thank you very much for your hard work.
