(1a) Community Patch - German

Civilization V Community Patch - German:

- Compatible with "Vox Populi: A Community Patch Project" 2.2.15

I would like to share my project of translating the modules of Vox Populi to German.
Hopefully, more languages will be added in the future. Currently, however, it only contains the German language, so it is up to the Community to translate more languages.

Features of "(1a) Community Patch - German":

- Enjoy the Community Patch in German (work in progress). All changes of the Community Patch will be shown correctly if you play the game in German. Even if some content isn't yet translated, you are able to see the correct content in English.


Why do I need this mod here?
=============================================================================
If you would play the Game in German, for instance, most parts of the "Community Patch" wouldn't show up. You would end up with vanilla descriptions. The "Community Patch" uses among other files, SQL-files to update vanilla buildings, units and descriptions, but only the English language. So playing the game in German would result in a Game in which most parts of the Game would look vanilla, while everything is working under the hood. Here comes the Localized-Mod that fixes this by adding those texts-strings to the German files, too. You will be then able to play the game in German with the Community Patch.


Progress of the German translation:

Currently, 59% of the Community Patch was translated by me. In detail, I translated text of 1.251 lines of 2.463 lines overall.
Vox Populi contains several modules, that are not listed here on Steam, so it is a lot of work to do all the translation and so I am focusing on the translation of the Community Balance Overhaul.

- Subscribe to this mod
- Make sure that you also subscribed to the original mod!
- Please be aware that an update of the original "(1) Community Patch" Mod can not be savegame compatible and that this could result in a Crash to Desktop, if you try to load a savegame of an older version of the "(1) Community Patch". This has nothing to do with my Mod, because it just adds text to the original Mod.
