Yes, there are mods and unofficial servers with x2 or x10 taming so stuff tames instantly. So if you look out for that, servers most likely won't lag and have more logic in it's gameplay. Some mods, I wish, devs just implemented into their game because modders know better how to take care of their game than they do themselves, lol.

Who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to have you sit on your ass for 4 hours staring at an animal and "hopefully" tame it? And that's what they call "gameplay?"

What a fucking joke. I might get it but only if there're mods like with bethesda's games where the community fixes everything the devs couldn't be bothered to fix. At the very least, I hope there's mod that turns the 3 hour taming session into a 3 minute one.

Game is full of bugs where you work hard for something and it might just despawn, while hackers duplicate items and nothing is being done in that case. Don't think WC Support knows how to handle their game and clients either when we had our animals that we worked hard for, fall under the map and in my support ticket the GM said "Sorry we can't do anythin about that but we can spawn you a new one without imprint (which is a boost in stats of your animal important for fights). I honestly don't know why I play this, maybe because WC have awesome idea for events and features but they lack developers to fix the bugs and tweak stuff a bit. Taming takes real time not game time. Some tames you need to babysit for 3 hours. Some despawn randomly after you're almost done or after they wake up. This is not fair at all and shit AF in my opinion. I only play it because I think I got used to it and I love my animals.

I was thinking of getting Ark and checked out the community - saw your work.

I've heard lots of people say Ark is kind of shit with how it takes ages to tame stuff and that the wildcard feature is retarded. Should I give it a pass if I'm looking to have fun in a fair game? It seems this game just likes to fuck with you more than be fair and logical.

I like to think of it as a nice baseline of sanity that everyone else hasn't reached yet.
