Kim Jong-Il's North Korea

Adds North Korea Civilization under the leadership of Kim Jong-Il.

Kim Jong-Il's North Korea is a militaristic civilization. However, unlike most other militaristic civilizations, Kim Jong-Il's civilization is a capital-focused civilization that places the capital first above all others.

Melee Units, Gunpowder Units, and Archer units are trained 25% faster in any city. -15% Production towards buildings built by a non-capital that is not in the capital already. Capital receives 1 Culture and Local Happiness for every 5 units.

Replaces Infantry. Weaker than the Infantry (60 Combat Strength opposed to 70), but receives a special promotion that is kept at upgrade which allows them to pillage for free, and restore 30 HP when standing on a tile with Cattle, Sheep, or Bison. May clear Forest and Jungle, repair improvements, and build roads, fortresses, farms, and pastures.

Replaces the Grand Temple. Doesn't require a holy city nor require a Temple in every city, but must be built in the Capital. Requires 8 Maintenance, and doesn't double the passive religious pressure. However, grants 10 faith instead of 8, and also gives 5 Global Happiness and Culture. Units trained in the city receives the Capital Defense promotion. Available at Chivalry instead of Theology.

As an AI, Kim Jong-Il is more of a nuisance than an actual threat: while Kim is a prickly leader who easily turns hostile, Kim is not particularly aggressive, most likely only declaring wars that he thinks he has a shot at. Not only that, the penalty towards civil administration will make his North Korea one of the weakest nations as the game progresses on.
